I actually don’t love Casey’s coaching decisions but what did you expect him to do with the rosters he had? The one year he had a semi capable team the (barely) made the playoffs

Mike and this “war chest”, how do you build a war chest when you have nothing to trade. All the teams he brings up traded mega stars to get picks back. Utah traded Mitchell and Gobert, OKC traded Russ, George etc…Orlando traded Vucevic and Gordan…When we brought Weaver in his best assets were Derrick Rose? Maybe? Tough to build a war chest without talent in the building. They had to strip it down and go the old fashion route of taking picks and free agency. Hopefully they have found a star or two in Cade, Ivey and Duren.
This summer really is everything for the pistons. They are either gonna get it right or they are gonna stink for another 5+ years. Troy weaver should be on the hot seat right now
