What a fall from grace, one of my favorite big man ever

  3. bulldozer_rob

Wow Mets got the 3rd best center in the league

  5. SphinxFx

Third best center in the Puerto Rican Professional Basketball League.

People clowning on Cousins as if he wasn’t really good and injuries didn’t ruin his career

Hey Mike first time long time. Do you think the Guaynabo Mets and the New York Mets ever get together and get dinner or something? I’ll hang up and listen

  8. Infraready

Steve Cohen can’t keep getting away with it

  9. Is Counsins a temporary closer for the Mets? I think once Edwin Diaz comes back next year, Cousins will be out of rotation.

Not sure why Boogie doesn’t have an NBA spot to be honest, he looked very competent in the playoffs last year for the Nuggets and legitimately fixed their non-Jokic minutes. Certainly not a starter for any teams but he clearly can still score and pass. Obviously he just has that bad of an effect on a locker room.

If Cousins had tried to be a defensive rim protector and rebounder at any point he would still be in the NBA.

To his credit he was really good as a backup in Denver last year when Joker went to the bench. They were able to keep running the offense with Cousins’ passing ability. I thought they would have kept him.

Wouldn’t the G-league be an easier route back to the NBA?

32? Man, if he would have stayed healthy he would still be a top 5 center.

He really messed up when he didn’t sign that max contract. Dude learned an expensive lesson

  15. wallpope1

Saw Hassan Whiteside, Brandon Knight, Greg Monroe, Tyreke Evans this season there. The league is getting better

I live 30 minutes away from there, I might need to tune in lol.

I can’t believe he’s become such a joke to people. If he hadn’t been drafted to the misery machine that was the 2010s Kings, I think his attitude wouldn’t have been as bad and he could have actually accomplished some things. When he was on he was really good.

Well, that’s probably the NBA career done. But man, i’ll never forget that 44/24/10 game he dropped on the Bulls in 2018 dragging us kicking and screaming to a 2OT win, I always talk about it whenever Boogie is brought up but I have a duty to remind everyone about it AFAIC, the GOAT performance.

Little did he know the 3rd best center in the league title belonged to a different Sac King

  20. Hell yeah I really want the PR league to keep growing. Even my home town has a team now.

Long time BSN league fan. There’s been a big influx in ex-NBA players here. All the games are on YouTube and the league overall has been doing really well in the last couple of years too with fan attendance. Vaqueros ahí!

I read the post wrong to say Guaynabo Mets Baseball team😂🤣😂…i thought switching sports like MJ is a weird way to get back to the league. 🤪🤪🤪

Bullied his whole career by the referees. Including at Kentucky

  24. SputnikFace

NBA waters down the league to make it global. Boogie is one of the victims

  25. Hungry-Raisin-5328

feel bad for him. there was awhile when he felt like a taller lebron-lite.

  26. blacksoxing

In all seriousness, he’s the poster child for the phrase “TAKE THE MONEY!” as he could have allegedly had tens of millions if he did when he was a King. Now, I understand why he didn’t, as he was betting on himself and didn’t want to be there anymore (allegedly) but damn, this is the counterpoint. Got hurt in New Orleans and has been taking vet mins since.

Shit feels like a game show where you’re in the audience screaming at the person on stage to do what you feel is the “smart” thing but they do what they wanna do. Ultimately, they’re on the stage with the bright lights and pressure….I’m just in the crowd.
