I really hope the voters were confused and split votes for Jaylen Brown between guard and forward. He played slightly more forward this year, and he’s got 0 shot of an All NBA team at guard. However, public perception still has him as a shooting guard.
Being that the new CBA didn’t address the limitations placed on teams for giving their players non-max second contracts, it’s critical that Brown does not make an All NBA team if other teams are looking to get him. If other teams are able to offer him the same amount as Boston, I think he’ll be happy to leave in free agency. Knowing this, Boston will likely look to trade him to recoup assets instead of letting him walk for free.

We really going to have IQ lose 6MOY and no All-NBA players because Boston media fooled everyone into thinking Brown is a forward instead of a guard to get him the supermax (even still Randle is having a better season) and that Brogdon playing less games than IQ is actually a good thing
Then we got people like Bill Simmons and Bondy voting for Brunson and not Randle for All-NBA because “you can’t have two Knicks” even though Brunson has no shot at All-NBA and Randle leads us in points, rebounds and has played 10 more games than any allstar

Anyone else surprised by how many votes Lauri is getting here? He deserves MIP but I feel like if you want to be All-NBA and you couldn’t even get your team into the play-in, your stats better be clearly better than your competitors, not just may be better because you shot efficiently.
