Jaden Ivey Is a rookie who’s game effects the game far beyond what the stats show. Playing for the Detroit Pistons plays a huge role into his growth and hopefully it doesn’t hurt him to bad as he is a diamond in the rough. Jaden Ivey can facilitate at a good level on the court and when slashing through the paint he looks more than determined to get the bucket! 1. Great video. First one I’ve watched from you, can tell you really know your basketball. Iveys crazy man. As a pistons fan, I’m excited to see the trio of wembenyana, Ivey, and Cunningham

  2. The rookie Westbrook was a good comparison. I honestly think he’s gonna be a way better shooter than Russ ever was. I like his shot too. He’s shooting roughly 42% overall. Which is really good for a rookie. Even if he’s in a bad team, he’s scoring effectively and his athleticism is gonna get even crazier. Def a ja Westbrook combo

  3. Whatever they do with Cade, I just hope they smart enough to know Ivey is a better PG then Cade. Personaly I would love to see Cade at the 3, but defiantly not a 1.

  4. Excellent highlight reels. Best video I've seen emphasizing his flashy but effective passing. I had no idea this was in Ivey's bag at the start of the season. Excellent analysis and full understanding of Ivey and his gravity and potential. I'm so excited as a Pistons fan. Also great job pointing out how well Duren and Ivey are together, they are becoming one mind out there the more Ivey starts to control his pass and Duren starts to expect it sooner.

  5. Nice breakdown. Seeing Jaden Ivey & Jalen Duren get better during the season has easily been the highlight of it. Especially Jaden. I've never personally seen someone develop a midrange game (that they didn't have at the start of the season) during the season. It's amazing to see.

Last night he had another 9 assist game to go with 29 points…and Detroit actually won a game 😅

Can't wait to see Ivey play with a bulked up Cade, Duren, Bojan & hopefully a top three pick. Can you imagine if the Pistons end up with Victor?!

    Thanks for the video

  6. Cade Ivey Miller/Wemby Duren feel like that's a good core I want to grow and develop time to add players that compliment them well

  7. It’s exciting to watch him ascend. He’s a different player right now that he was in November. I really do feel like the jacked Ja and D-Wade comps aren’t crazy.

  8. Cade/Ivey/ Bojan/ Victor/Duren spells championship after 2-3 years together mark my words

  9. In regards to his efficiency….it’s hard to overstate how bad the team around him has been the past couple months. With Cade, Bojan, Burkes, and Stewart all out the only guy he has played with consistently that has a future in this league as a starter is Duren. Duren is the youngest player in the league, still very raw, and has a pretty simplistic game at this point. It’s hard enough for rookie guards to be efficient scorers but when you need them to be the entire engine of the offense and they’re the only person on the team that can create their own offense, they’re going to have some rough games from an efficiency standpoint. That being said, his season long percentages are comparable to or better than the other top-5 picks and those guys have been surrounded by competent and All-Star level players pretty much their entire rookie campaign.

  10. Him playing around Duren and Wiseman is too good to be true. It elevates his passing game so much. I really hope they get Wemby

  11. Ivey in the full court setting was already easy to see coming out of Purdue. I’m most impressed with how fast he caught on to the half-court setting. It’s still a little rough, but you can tell the way he breaks down defenses is a lot more polished.

  12. Yeah the eye test is good, but I actually don’t think the numbers are all that bad. But yo we make really similar content, maybe we should collab sometime

  13. I’m not worried about the offense at all really but his defense is atrocious even for a rookie hopefully an offseason will help him improve a ton of that end then he can be a top 5 player form the class for sure

  14. his defense has been improved tremendously these past 3 weeks as well

  15. He’s improved every single month and you can tell he has that dawg mentality. He’s only going 📈

  16. You are on point! You really have to watch the games, one thing we didn’t know if he could run the point because of Cade’s injury he had a lot of opportunity to have the ball in his hands, I love him a great pick along with Duren!

  17. Cade/ivey could become Isiah thomas/Dumas 2.0….GO PISTONS! Hopefully we get Victor #1 in the draft!

  18. This was a great video showcasing Ivey’s abilities, how do you feel about Cade and the duo of him and Ivey?
