“Masterclass in tanking” aside, this is bad, right?
The Spurs allowed an average of 123.1 PPG, the fifth-worst such figure in NBA history.
They suffered eight losses by 35 or more points, two more such losses than any other team in NBA history.

The masterclass involved a lot of lineup manipulation. IIRC, Pop had only 2-3 lineups that had more than 50 total minutes together after the trade deadline.
Some lineups are going to work better than others, so I can’t say I’m surprised by this number. Still more of a feature instead of a bug.
Spurs were just bad this year. Bottom(bottom 1-10) of the league in FT%, 2P%, 3P%, TOV, offensive rating, defensive rating, hell they were even last in attendance.

The only good “team stat” i can see is we passed the ball well. Top 5 in assist.
Yeah I gave up watching full games in December because of this. Very unenjoyable, it made me lose some interest in basketball. Hopefully we ain’t tanking next year
It’s kind of sad considering the reputation the Spurs had for strong defense for so long. But we knew what this season was coming into it and hopefully, the tanking will pay off.
