Like 2 weeks ago I was arguing w some Poole haters here who think (thought?) his contract was a disaster given his iffy play this year. My counter was even if you don’t think he’s worth the price tag, it’s still a very tradable contract, which makes him an asset any way you look at it. Haters disagreed: who’d ever trade for an overpayed Poole? (As if Westbrook hadn’t just been traded for a bevy of useful players…)
Anyway, I don’t know that him having the 15th best selling jersey adds to my point, but I feel like it kinda does. Sure, he wouldn’t be this popular if he weren’t on the dubs. But he’s objectively popular, and I feel like teams exploring trades might be interested in acquiring a guy who’s young and popular. Having popular players is a good thing, right?
Anyway, all this is premised on if you don’t think he’s worth keeping at 140 million or whatever over 4 seasons. If he balls out this postseason we’ll be having a very different conversation.

sad that I’m one of few Warriors fans that rock my boy(s) Wiggins and Andre jerseys. I’ll ALWAYS be a fan of role players that play great D. Last Warriors game I went to, I only saw 2 other Wiggins jerseys besides mine.
I get stoked seeing other fans with Baron, Mullin(my fave, have that jersey too), Hardaway, and Monta. I’m gonna get a Sprewell jersey or knockoff despite how much hate I receive. he was so fuckin fun to watch when I was younger!
