I really hope Looney spends his entire career here. He’s always been so reliable, and he hasn’t missed games since last year. He improved so much, so he can contribute to the team.
I really hope his jersey gets retired one day. If Nick Collison can get his jersey retired because he stayed in OKC, so can Looney.
My unpopular 1st round picks are Memphis in 6 & Clippers in 7. I just don’t think the Lakers are very good & all those fake 25 point games they were getting from Reaves or Beasley are vanishing in the playoffs. Lebron & AD can only accomplish so much & the size argument does not move me because they themselves struggle guarding small lineups w/ shooting and they have zeeeroo answers for Ja. Plus health & stamina.
Suns have 4 really good players, 2 below average ones, and that’s kind of it…and I don’t think it will be enough in a grind out series when the Clippers have way more lineup versatility & experience with their group, despite missing PG. I think they can make up for his offense & Suns are not an opponent where you need 2 elite wings on defense to guard. Westbrook is the wild card and I never trust him but I think Ty Lue would just bench him if it comes to that.

One day to go… my hoops addiction doesn’t handle these long breaks well. Cubicle life wearing me down without day to day hoops.
