If Houston gets the #1 pick with two mid 1st left. Maybe they want VanVleet and he opts out of contract, and they want Nurse & he wants to go. Maybe Raptors don’t exercising Vv’s bird rights and trade Nurse to Houston . Maybe will that be enough to get one of Houston’s remaining two 1st? Clear some salary to sign OG and extend Siakam. Maybe even trade Siakam for a disgruntled star.
I admit that changes to the Raps' roster won't happen overnight but there's no doubt that changes MUST be made because this roster wasn't good enough to win a game beyond the regular season. That on Thursday's edition of CityTV Toronto a.m. show Breakfast TV Sid Seixeiro, a sports' fan even after his move from Sportsnet to CityTV, claimed that loss to the Bulls had been "embarrassing" (title of the video "'Embarrassing' — Sid shares his thoughts on this Raptors season") didn't surprise me one bit. In response to Seixeiro's claim that Prez Ujiri and GM Webster had been responsible for practically no bench, there's no doubt both execs should be FIRED. 3 seasons of no playoff success (other than wins of 2 games last seasons against the Sixers) and no direction will hopefully see both execs out the door but whether the Board of MLSE, the team's ownership group, will follow through is still TBD.
He single handedly destroyed which was once a solid and successful player development system. Benching young players and given only garbage minutes. How are you to “develop” as a player and team when all that happens is Nurse playing the starters 38 mins and giving garbage time to the bench. We need a coaching change.
the team has been in the process of moving into a long lineup. …has been, because their backcourt(FVV>J) for most of that time has not been Long at all…finally adding a center is part of that process..having a bigger backcourt(FVV&OG) is part of that process
Nick Nurse did a horrible job against the Bulls and the coaching staff was like they were at a funeral.. The Raptors are going nowhere under Nurse.. They can't shoot period

I think the Raptors should play big ball basketball and just dominate teams like the early 2000s style did.

Trading for Jakob only helped Fred and nothing else. I want the raptors to go all the 6'9 vision. So let Fred walk. I'm tired of that short guy
