The 2nd free throw from Siakam was the perfect analogy for the Raptors season. Just came out flat and never had a chance. Still got mad love for this guy. Hope this becomes part of his process to achieving the greatness he’s capable of.
If there was one thing that defined the Raps this year it was inability to play to their potential with any consistency, and this last game illustrated that perfectly. It seems clear that this is a mental/psychological issue and the organization needs to find someone, whether coach(s) or player(s), to resolve that.
Serious question why is it implied players and coaches aren't transparent during the season? Transparency only once a year wouldn't fly in any other organization 😂 what does that even mean horrible implications there

Hopefully Houston gets the #1 pick and feeling lightheaded with two mid 1st left. They want VanVleet and he opts out of contract. They want Nurse & he wants to go. Raptors don’t exercise Vv’s bird rights saving money for poeltl&OG and trade Nurse to Houston . Would that be enough to get one of Houston’s remaining two 1st? Then sign Udoka. Achieving the cultural change Fred said is needed for team winning selfless basketball!!!
This is the same team last year with even added Jakob Poeltl, so where is the improvement? Nick Nurse needs to take time out to go learn how to develop young players as a coach. Nick Nurse has zero knowledge how to develop players, highly over rated, keep him and you will get the same result or worst. Nick Nurse cannot help these players develop, period. Kawhi Leonard was the reason for Raptors 2019 championship not Nick Nurse. Masai Ujiri needs to do his job and fire the coach.
The way NN coached every game like a playoff game rotation wise and never properly developed the bench starting from game one was indictive of the Chicago game- burn the starters out. Raptors need to trade NN to Houston (or another team) for a 2024 FRP. NN has been feeling himself extra hard since he signed with Klutch Sports. FVV may follow NN to Houston (or another team) in a S&T. Raptors traded a 2022 FRP for Thad 'DNP' Young and a 2024 FRP for Poeltl who was going to be an UFA this summer- bad asset management by front office. Especially since Toronto will most likely waive Thad 'DNP' Young this summer after he failed to meet contract incentives guaranteeing his 8 million dollar salary for 2023-24. He will only count as a million against the salary cap if waived. Ime Udoka is the right person to coach this team and get the most out of this roster with or without FVV. Keep everyone else, resign GTJ- &, Poeltl and add to the talent base with the Lottery pick and potential FVV S&T.
