My guess is they trade the 17th pick. They are about to shell out a lot of money to keep this squad together so they’ll cut some costs somewhere although I’d love for them to draft a young prospect to look ahead in a few years.
Im more excited with the #47 pick. Im sure the scouting dept can find another gem in the 2nd rd.
There’s been some nice players drafted at that range recently could land a nice piece this draft

The Pepperdine student in me would love Maxwell Lewis but the Laker fan in me thinks there’s probably better options out there
i’m looking at kris murray at 17.. same skill set as twin keegan. 6’8 forward that can shoot 3s and rebound..
That pick could end up huge. A lot of solid role players are ranked around that spot.
I’m still confused how we took Christie over Hardy.. a flyer on the formal top ranked recruit should have been a layup.

So theoretically a team could be the 10 seed, make the playoffs through the play in, win the title, and also be in the lottery get the #1 pick? Or am I missing something?
