It’s been a pleasure fellas, tough way to go out

  2. cbunny21

At the end of the day, Minnesota is a far more talented and experienced team than OKC right now, and if KAT plays the whole season they are probably better than the play-in. This was a very rough loss, but I think the team will remember this one and come back next year hungry. They played hard tonight, just couldn’t get a shot to fall, and Minny played pretty well. The refs were also atrocious and Rudy Gobert fucking suuuuuckssss man

    Can’t wait for next season!

  3. tf_is_dis

These boys gonna be hungry next year. Gonna be fun to watch

  4. The moment we got 10th seed, I was fully prepared for this to happen. The front office and coaching staff were in development mode all season, not playoff mode. Even Mark has admitted this.

If we were desperate to make the playoffs, we would’ve kept Moose and acquired a PF at the trade deadline (possibly Saddiq Bey). I think the org might’ve concluded that the play-in, which puts you in a game 7 environment, is a greater lesson and experience than getting swept by a 1st seed.

  5. Thanks for an amazing season, but that was an atrocious game.

  6. Awkward-Resource423

Dort is probably going to be our 2nd option postseason forever, mark my words. Dude has that Lebron/MJ/Kobe mentality in the playoffs

  7. zulupapajunior

Whilst actually v happy about the season. Fuck the Wolves.

  8. Calm-Cry4253

Fun season! A lot to reflect on. We need as much frontcourt help as we can get this summer. Ready for Chet!!!

  9. elevatoreclipsed

Hell of a squad. Proud of you guys!! Thundered the Fuck up from the jump!!

  10. lmaoooyikes

Crazy how much shit Dort got this season but ended up being our best/most consistent player throughout both play-in games

  11. OKC fans you have nothing to be ashamed about. Your squad is incredible and young. As a life long wolves fan who has always struggled (and continues to struggle) I can’t imagine how amped I would be if one of my young wolves squads back in the day (we had MANY iterations) was even close to being good enough to get a game away from the playoffs.

What you guys have done with such a young team in uncommon. Young teams don’t win and you guys won a lot. Again, I had some fun young wolves teams but they don’t compare to what you guys have right now and you have a boatload of assets to build upon that with.

Can’t wait to see Chet next season, you guys may be the next year’s Sacramento Kings. Great season, please enjoy the gem that you have.

  12. Genuinely, props to Rudy Gobert. He is still an absolute menace against teams that get their points in the paint. He is the reason the score was as lopsided as it was and the reason he was a 3x DPOY was on full display.

  13. chefslapchop

Well, at least we can go back to just being depressed about our real lives now

  14. I just want a proper big from wherever and the best shooter available, enough shooting potential and good shooting mechanics. If a mfucker shooting like 40% on good volume is available GET HIM. I’ve been saying this for about a decade now. 32% from three.

That’s it, that’s the only request for the future at the moment. Maybe a shot making wing as well but we’ll see.. maybe we trade for one.

  15. amari_prince

We‘ll be back! Love to the team and everyone here, Thunder up 🫶🏼

I’ll look at all the frustrating negatives from that game before getting to the big picture positives.

    – Shai was dreadful, NAW stopped him from getting to the rim and when he did get there Rudy’s defense was immaculate. He’s been so consistent all year and it’s shit luck that a bad game had to fall on the most important game.

    – Giddey needs to stop with this floater garbage. So many times he just got scared to take it all the way to the cup and finished with a weak floater. And frankly, his effort on defense this game was appalling and I’m quite disappointed in it.

    – We had SO MANY unforced turnovers man, we were very clearly panicking all game and struggling to keep calm in this big moment which is to be expected for such a young team, but unfortunate nonetheless.

    – Whenever we got something going, specifically in the 3rd when we cut it to 7, they would just kill it right away.

    Now the big picture positives:

    – What a FANTASTIC season man. Some had us winning under 25 games and we won 40 and were one win from the playoffs. I myself was more optimistic than most about this season but even I didn’t expect anything close to this. Shai took a leap and we found a diamond in JDub.

    – Next year is gonna be fucking HUGE for us. Chet back, another lottery pick and potentially some nice additions through FA or trades. Next year we shouldn’t be thinking play-in, we should be aiming for a top 6 seed 100%. It’s gonna be big. Think of this year as the trailer for the blockbuster film.

I’m so amazingly proud of what this group has done this year, it’s been better than any of us could’ve hoped for. THUNDER THE FUCK UP.

  17. Gloomy-Presence-6539

Very proud of our Thunder! What a year, it sucks we ended here but it could’ve ended a while ago

  18. charlesspeltbadly

this went pretty much how I expected but still hurts damn

  19. Cloudz777

What a great season. Have a nice summer everyone and see yall back come draft time

  20. HateYourTeamLoveMine

FUCK gobert. I havent been this mad at a game in years. Next year will be fun, but we need a bruiser of a PF next to Chet. I hate Draymond as much as anyone else, but he is exactly the type of player this team needs.

  21. Appropriate_One1461

Amazing season. We’ll be back and potentially scary at times. I can’t wait.

  22. Severe-Background-74

I just wish it was close man 🥲

  23. TTFU. Need Chet and a real backup center.

Mann , JRE got to go

  24. turkmileymileyturk

We need front court players that play defense and don’t rely on taking charges on every possession as their contribution to defense. It’s not a reliable form of defense.

  25. jackknockleson

    So many highlights…

    16pt 4min come back 10/29

    Shai’s Game winner 12/19

    Boston blowout 1/3

Beating Lakers on Lebron’s night 2/7

    Jdub’s Game winner 3/29

    Giddey Play-in performance 4/12

  26. BobTheNarp

Couldn’t be more excited for next year. Fuck Rudy Gobert. Let’s go Russ. ⚡️⚡️⚡️

  27. Tough game but even getting there was awesome to witness. Having to play two game 7’s in two different opposing cities with one day off obviously took a toll on the guys. I think the Pelicans game is more indicative of what this team is actually capable of and they’re only gonna get better. Not to mention the fact that we have Chet coming and a boatload of picks. This season was always going to be a write off but I’m proud of what was accomplished and I hope the guys are hungrier now than ever. Can’t wait for next season.

  28. cbunny21

Really impressed with Dort in these play-ins. The rest of the core each had one on and one off night, I think they were gassed tonight. It was nice to see JDub have a solid game. SGA still got his even though his shot wasn’t falling and he had one eye for half the game. Giddey had a…rough night tonight, but he killed it against the Pels, so I’m not worried about his future. We have a lot of room to improve, and our guys are still so damn young

  29. SpideyPoke92

We played with a front court handicap all season, and still were one game from the playoffs.

Plenty of room to improve. See y’all for the draft!

Guess, I just Pablo Escobar meme until then.

  30. crustyzebra0

Minnesota deserved the win. Still a great season and I am happy they went for it and didn’t throw in the towel like Dallas did.

And now we pray to the lotto gods.

I wonder if we should try to make a trade or a signing this off-season. I see arguments for both sides.

On one hand we are so young and adding chet and a lotto guy next season so we should just improve organically.

On the other, we have an all nba guard and are adding Chet armed with draft picks, cap space and young players. Our window is now to win if we find the right guy. What do you think?

  31. SamPrestiFanClub

This was ATROCIOUS. I’ve never seen so many missed layups. One quarter of more than 24 points. We all have all off-season to talk about how great this team can/will be in the future. Tonight I need to vent and say this game was atrocious.

  32. Bad loss but in the context of the entire season, this whole experience was amazing for our development. We’re going to do some damage in the next few years.

  33. ComfortableAd1840

I’m expecting an apology from Gobert for that nasty (though inadvertent) elbow to SGA. Until then, he can go fly a kite.

  34. H9m8urgalar

So long as gobitch and “well known loser KAT” are on that squad, bitch ass t wolves are my least favorite team on the damn planet. Nugs in four

  35. lizard1738

Anyone know when the thunder are flying home?
