  1. Alot of this end of the season stuff I don't put alot of stock in. Julian and Sandro can stay, I don't like Barlow but he can always hangout in Austin.. So can they other 2 if they don't play well. KBD should go find himself a better deal with a different team, he's older and doesn't fit the timeline.

  2. TSR, I have been subscribed to your channel for a long time, and being that you are a Spurs fan and cover Spurs news and highlights, I’m shocked that you couldn’t pronounce “mamukelashvili.” It's not like he hasn’t played in 18 games in a Spurs uniform logging significant minutes. I understand it is difficult but if you take the time to pronounce his name, you will see it's easy. Thanks

  3. Great Stream TSR 🩶 🤍 🖤 after the lotto I'm lookin forward to our roster moves this summer

  4. Another season in. Thank you for all the hard work. It's been tough to watch this year, but the potential in these young players and in our future drafts makes me excited.

My solace in all of this is that Houston and Dallas both missed the playoffs as well.

  5. I think who the Spurs decide to resign greatly depends on what their realistic timeline is to start contending again. These guys are young and promising, but Spurs have a ton of cap space and could add some very strong pieces in free agency to pair with their high draft pick and the current core of Vassell/Keldon. If that ends up happening, I don’t envision us keeping a guy like Barlow who has nice potential but is currently very raw and likely won’t crack the rotation for a contending team.

Another factor here is price. These guys have had a great opportunity to showcase their skills in SA this year, and I’m sure the Spurs would love to keep them, but they certainly won’t overpay for them, and if some other team out there values them more than the Spurs, then we’ll have to let them walk.

Lots to consider here for Brian Wright

  6. I was an advocate to trade or waive KBD. The way he has stepped up they should to keep him. He has played as a more than serviceable backup. Remember they created an additional two way. All teams can carry three two-way players. My opinion is that these players play well within the Spurs system and might not play well elsewhere. Devonte Graham is another find that gets lost in the mix. How far would Langford have gone if not for his injuries. So this is what I see happening. Gone are; McDermott, Langford, Dieng, Birch. I'd like to see Dieng brought back in a player development type situation. Either have Barlow and Champagnie another year on two- way or sign them. If they sign both current two-way players, then that leaves one spot for draft night and three two way positions available.

  7. McDermott has another year on his contract and I doubt anyone will suddenly show an interest in taking him in a trade since we over paid for him.
Langford, Champagnie and Barlow have qualifying offers so the Spurs are interested in bringing them back.
KBD….I'd love to see him back, but his development and age will most likely have him going elsewhere as a free agent this summer.
The big question is what's going on with Tre Jones…..they haven't floated a qualifying offer to him, nor an extension. Perhaps those things are being discussed within the organization, but it's odd that there's nothing yet….is he out?….are they intent on taking Scoot? At the very least, he seems like a good back up. Perhaps the Spurs are talking to him, but they can't agree on the $? Pity he's so bad at threes.

  8. I want to keep them all too. I'm a KBD fan. But with two first round picks coming up, they will have to make some tough decisions. What about Devonte Graham and Khem Birch? Might they get waived? Gorgui Dieng and Charles Bassey (who I like) – are they going to be here? So maybe there are some players that can be waived before getting rid of these three that you talked about. It's a great problem to have – so much young talent who are all developing and improving game by game.
You deserve 25K! Good luck with your strategy to grow by calling playoff games.

  9. Play-in/PlayoffTeams with notable former Spurs players to watch:

    Hawks – Dejounte Murray
    Bulls – Demar Derozan
    Celtics – Derrick White
    Nets – Patty Mills
    Raptors – Jakob Poeltl
    Timberwolves – Kyle Anderson
    Lakers – Lonnie Walker IV
    Suns – Jock Landale

Feel free to add those I missed.

  10. Finally the end of a season that was really hard to watch. But we laid the foundation for the future and developed key players while working on chemistry, defense and play making! I have no doubt that this team is gonna be great next year even without the draft pick. Now if we get Wemby or another superstar and sky is the limit

  11. MAMU, PENNY, and BARLOW, should all stay. Great Bench Guys. Mamu is NO QUESTION! Real question is if KBD should stay. I would take Penny of KBD at this point. KBD has had TONS of time to turn the corner but is not proving that he will every be "more" than he is now. This is his peek and it's "Solid". But Penny has the "up-side" and fundamentals look amazing. Barlow, not a big deal. Effortless athleticism and defense is coming around. He needs 1 more 2-way contract to see how he can continue to develope.

Don't forget. Tre JONES is a free agent. After averaging nearly 13ppg will he be more expensive to keep than it's worth for an undersized guy who SHOULD probably just be a Good Backup PG on a good team. Would we have to pay him like a starter though to keep him now ???

  12. I don't think anyone on the team is untouchable (perhaps with the exception of Sochan), so I want them to figure out a trade to get a 1st round pick either this year or later down the line for their 2 2nd round picks. I think we're still going to be in rebuilding phase even if we get Wembenyama, so I want more 1st round picks in the next few drafts so we can build up a nice young core around Wembenyama if we get him. We've also proven that we can transform players we get outside of the draft into decent role players, so I want our draft to be focused on raw talent and high ceiling players.

  13. I can see KBD going by sign and trade with the likes of devonte or bassey and try and grab another 1RP from a contending team in the upcoming draft, waive dieng and bring him back on some coaching role, offer tre, Julian & Mamu team friendly contracts keep Barlow on a 2way contract and offer remaining 2ways to the 2RP coming in.

  14. Id waive romeo and birch just to open spots for barlow and champagnie. Its tiring seeing Romeo stay in that injury list all the time

  15. My problem is that I absolutely love every single guy who plays for us.
My favourite is Zach, tho. Overtook my man Keldon.

  16. Got to bring back mamu … Julian and Barlow on the 2way contract I like what I’ve seen from them in silver and black but knowing the SPURS they’ll tell them both to go get their money like they did slowmo

  17. I thought the bottom 3 teams have an equal chance of getting the first draft pick. Does anyone know how that works?

  18. We also have a ton of draft picks over the next few tears. I wonder how are we going to keep all these players?

  19. Not that high with Barlow. Was so high on Mamu but declined a lil bit. Champ is mah man! If we don't have anyone better than them, I say we keep them. These 3 are our best 2nd unit in their respective positions right now.

  20. Yes, we're here to talk about and read sports, but the headline uses 2 subjects. It would make sense if it were: Whom should the Spurs re‐sign?
