    You’re missing some context.

    26 assists to 34 turnovers. 25.5% shooting from 3, 46% from the field. -44 overall +/-.

Games with Siakam he was at 105 assists to 98 turnovers, 40% shooting from 3 and 47.9 from the field. +176 overall +/-

Siakam being out means you lose out on a 24ppg scorer. Doesn’t exactly mean the team will score 24 less points per game while he’s out

Players being statistically better when Siakam is out is not a knock on Siakam or the fit with the team

But Siakam is still a better player than OG sans Siakam

And he was terribly inefficient. Let’s get rid of Siakam because then OG can take on a big role where he’s less efficient than Siakam, has no passing abilities unlike Siakam, and doesn’t rebound the ball as well as Siakam

Not to mention, if you want OG to be the main offensive option then get ready to watch his defensive value fall off a cliff. You can’t consistently cover the opposing team’s best player and be the top offensive option. Pascal’s defensive numbers dropping are highly correlated with his increase in offensive usage.

All it takes is actually watching the games and you can see that OG isn’t a first option. He’s not even a 2nd option offensively. The guy can’t handle the ball. He can’t shoot off the dribble.

Posts like this make it very easy to ignore the people shitting on Masai. If you think this is a good move then your takes on FO decisions are worth absolutely nothing

A top tier 3D like OG can fit into any lineup in any team. The issue lies in Fred, siakam and Scottie, all three need ball and the latter two take up similar space.

OG would have the same faith as Pascal once he goes from secondary and tertiary option to first option, if not worse.

OG can’t dribble and create his own shot. Even worse, 5-6 seasons in and he still cannot drive without ramming into the defender. He can’t generate shots for others.

I honestly would trade both OG and Pascal. Pascal is a great secondary option without a first option. OG is a great piece for contenders but we are not contending anytime soon.

If OG was on a rookie deal or rookie extension, I would have kept him and tried to force him into a bigger role. But he will also become expensive very soon.

This place is close to having a RaptorsJerk sub started I guarantee.

Yes, trade Pascal, who puts up better numbers, so OG can put up slightly more points due to higher usage but fall off everywhere else.
