[Jon Krawcynski] Thinking about this from last night: I disagree with the suggestion that the Wolves lost because of the officiating. But the tone of this tweet was uncalled for. That’s my fault. I see why some of you didn’t like it. You deserve better and I’ll keep that in mind.

Jonny K apologizing for his tweet last night, nice to be heard. I’d have to guess he scrolled through Reddit and saw how many people were pissed at him lol

People were seriously upset by his tweet? The wolves went down by 21 points!!! The supermax player owed $62 million in 2027 shot 3/12. Officiating was not the reason we lost that game. We are becoming a really whiney fanbase when it comes to the refs. It seems like there’s more discourse about officiating than the mistakes the team is making on the court. When we lose people are so quick to blame the officials

To me, this shows good Jon is at his job and that he does care about the actual fans.

I guarantee for every fair criticism of Jon’s tweet, there were at least one or more totally unfair and way too far criticism in his mentions.

Many people would have lashed out and doubled down. Jon took the high road, cause that’s who he is.

Props to Jon for owning up to it, but it’s annoying that he always acts the same way. It would be nice if our media could have the fans backs for once instead of treating us like garbage and sucking off the league. Doesn’t necessarily have to be after a game like yesterday, but there’ve been games were we 100% were screwed and Jon took the same approach.

  5. Kinda odd.

If we were in LA, their fan base would eat it up. I mean, we all saw how bad their media and LeBron went after the refs earlier this season, and they get the most calls in the NBA.

My biggest issue with the media members is – and I could be wrong – they keep scolding us for blaming losses on officiating but I don’t think anyone is blaming the loss on that. We’re just saying it’s bad and attributing to us having to fight an uphill battle to win the game because of it. Obviously other factors went into play for us to lose the game, but when you add in the officiating it just makes it impossible to win

  7. Personally I love when media members get emotional and tweet emotional like the kids in the fanbase

Whether the team plays well or not, as fans we have a right to expect fair and competent officials that allow the relative quality of the teams to shine through. May the best team win.

There is a double standard for this team, and it puts them at a competitive disadvantage. It needs to end.
