  1. They had to, he's a terrible coach that had one good season because Kawhi carried him. Outside of that he has never achieved anything with the team. He isn't a good NBA coach

  2. Fans have to realize that when a coach wins a title, it doesn't always mean that they are good at coaching a team. Look at Doc Rivers as the same as Nick Nurse. Both got lucky getting the right players to be able to steal a title. Realistically he isn't a good coach, has terrible decision making during the game, under uses their players (Poeltl was much better used in the Spurs). Just not a great coach

  3. The rockets would be stupid to pick up nurse. He doesn't work well with young guys. He can't develop young talent. Look at malachi Flynn, scottie Barnes hasn't develop any either. Delano banton, none of his young players have improved from year to year. That all can't be on them. Coaching has to take some part of that.

  4. He was scapegoated for Masai’s mess whoever gets him is getting a top 5 coach when at his peak

  5. 🥺 feel for him, the league is brutal even if you got a banner hanging in the arena. They stagnated and regressed. They never found THE guy but I have hope Scottie or Pascal can both lead this team in 23-24.

Nurse is gonna be an elite HC option around the NBA.
