I’m happy with this.
Nurse is still locked in and committed to the Canadian national program.
He has a deal through the 2024 Olympics, great relationships in the org, and of course a lot of resume/legacy to gain by bringing Canada back there.

Nick Nurse chasing legacy points
Gotta get us the gold this summer đź’Ş
No Canadian Raptors players on the team?
Was worried this was going to be a burned bridges sort of thing, but glad to see he’ll do us a solid. Nick will always be welcome here!
We’ll see how long that lasts
I know they “fired” him but I can’t help but think players, front office and Nick Nurse/ coaching staff just wanted to move on. Also, Nick Nurse seemed tired. I think he might just take a break this season.
Hell ya! Was wondering about this.
Awkward.
This is our best chance. If only, we can find a decent center. Shai and Jamal Murray backcourt is as good as anyone. If Wiggins can come back, then I feel like we can beat anyone except for US.
the twist in the knife is when he brings SGA to the rockets in like 2026 after they been vibing together through Fiba and the Olympics
Nick Nurse is amazing! Love this man. Can’t believe they fired him. But I’m so happy to hear that he’ll continue with the Canadian team. He is a real one.
I’m glad. While not the best coach for the raptors atm, he is by far the best coach for team Canada. His style of coaching fits a tournament perfectly.
Our small ball lineup options are kind of insane: SGA, Murray, Brooks, RJ. Barrett, Wiggins, Dort, Clarke, Mathurin, Boucher, Sharpe
Silver or a bronze is a must with this talent
Glad to hear.
I mean just because it didnt work out, doesnt mean he is a bad coach.
Another reason he should and will get a warm reception and standing O if/when he returns as head coach of another team next year.
Edit: to add that not that fans need another reason to show love, he’s already earned goodwill and then some
