I don't agree that it's an intentional kick to the groin. I think it's a stretch to say that. What it was, was an intentional kick or trip, to respond to Claxton. Same with Harden, that clearly was not intentional to hit his groin, but he meant to push off a little, same move he usually makes, but this time he connected. All of that is way less than Draymond straight up stomping on someone's chest on purpose and acting like you had no other option.

Both Joel and James deserve a tech, Embiid should’ve been thrown out of the game , as for suspension thats debatable. Harden shouldn’t been thrown out ; there’s a little acting there by his defender. and NO suspension for Harden.
in all 3 incidents heavy flopping was involved. All “the gamesmanship “ to trick officials is ruining the game. Just play the game every play they’re lobbying for calls. Embiid fell 60 times last night just ridiculous

Embiid DIDN'T deserve to get ejected at all, why tf is Claxton is stepping over him ? The moment he steps over him Embiid it's within his rights to NOT let him step any way he can, I say he didn't even deserves flagrant 1 because he's just reacting.
The NBA has a big problem that it doesn't punish the instigator of the incident , saw it with Sabonis, now saw it with Claxton. If someone initiates it he should be thrown out first.
What a double standard Joe you can't punish a person for past mistakes and Sabonis played like he was soo hurt and he instigated the whole thing if you set rules let them apply to everyone stop judging people by their past because everyone has one so be fair
The "history" argument is pure bullsht. So, if I'm a dirty coach I tell the player with no history to commit a super physical or even dirty foul knowing he won't get ejected or suspended.

Draymond deserved a F2 + Suspension,
Harden didn't deserve a F2 (F1 would've been more appropriate),
Embiid deserved a F2, should've been ejected, but no suspension.
What about when embid fought KAT. No history?
I feel like oneale flopped to get the ejection. His reaction to getting socked in the crotch was very delayed. This should become a new rule that a player with the ball moving be given some space for moving. Something similar to the space being given to a shooter when in shooting motion. Better yet, let’s take it back a couple of decades and start playing defense like they did in the 80’s.
Embiid is lucky (1) he didn’t get thrown out and (2) Claxton didn’t fall on Embiid legs/knee are after the kick

This is whats happen when NBA ejects for no reason guys like Green and have zero penalty for the provocateurs! Once people like Sabonis gets thrown for 2-3 games for provocation – the problem will be solved. Now every weak team will try the same – to simulate hit so the opponent get ejected.
