Damn basically telling the team some of y’all ain’t gonna be here next season. He’s right though this team was built to help maximize our stars strengths but they’re gone time to start fresh gotta get younger and bigger to be competitive.
Get a GM that makes better trades first.
Is he even sure he’s going to be the coach?
He’s not wrong, but he also decided to completely ice out Yuta after the KD/Kyrie trades in favor of defensive turnstiles Joe + Seth.
He’s not a star, but he *is* one of the only players on the bench with size and hustle.
JV is so bad I can’t even tell you
Clax isn’t a 5. Too skinny. And my consistent hot take is that he’s not a great true rim protector. Get a big body stretch 5 and let Clax terrorize teams in that Rob Williams/Giannis free safety role. That’s where Clax gets his blocks. Helping on defense, and stuffing guards on switches.
I haven’t seen his press conference, has he at least taken some responsibility for this shameful shitshow?
This isn’t all on the players, there were some straight up baffling coaching decisions made
Playing Joe Harris was a fucking crime against basketball
Fuck JV, fuck the coaching staff and fuck the GM. We need to completely wipe them all clean if we want anything to happen
Our 3 point shooters couldn’t make any shots and didn’t play good defense, besides Royce. Couldn’t trust anyone off the bench to score from 3 this series. We need new players this off-season
Drop Seth and use the cap space to sign Mikal’s old teammate Donte DiVincenzo. Dude has been hustle all year. Guy grabs a couple offensive boards and a steal or four every game with a low turnover rate.
JV literally iced Day’ron and Yuta who are good rebounders lmao for Joe Harris and Seth Curry.
Going to enjoy seeing Yuta thrive somewhere else.
Sean Marks – “Size? How about 5 more undersized players who can’t rebound and can only shoot 3’s at 30%”
Is he the coach or the GM?
We’ve needed to get bigger for years now lol Sean marks keep refusing to address this. Joe seth patty all gotta go too man, yuta cam Thomas and sumner were there to provide some energy and got no mind
Message was obviously not meant for Clax, who had a monster defensive final game and season.
Neither rebounding nor defense lost this game nor series. It was not being able to crack 100 points. The 4 players returned for Kyrie and KD took up four starting spots in place of two and combined scored less points (55) in the final game than the season average of the 2 players they were traded for (56).
Sure, they blew up one of the most formidable duos in NBA history, but at least Nets management got to stick it to Kyrie by not offering him the contract he deserved over an innocuous tweet. Definitely worth it.
Hopefully we’ll be looking for a different coaching staff too
Nets have struggled with physicality even before 7/11. They’ll probably struggle as long as the current brain trust is in place
just need their all nba DPOY calibre 6’10 pg back
We’ve gotta get difference making talent*
[removed]
Now they say this? This has been the case since Brook Lopez was traded
Hear me out… Andre Drummond?
We need guys that don’t play with their meat
Bring back Reggie Evans!
He’s definitely not wrong but he’s not the coach to handle it.
Go get Vogel or Nurse and thank me later.
