Even though we won game 3 I was watching Kuminga and he was very slow to switch on defense, it lead to a lot of players blowing past him like Monk. He was maybe 1-2 steps behind, I’m sure he’ll figure it out. We still need to win 14 more games

  2. howcanilose

He needs to crash the boards if he wants minutes man

  3. BaseUncultured

He’d be way more impactful vs any other team. This simply is just not the series for him, even Wiggins is getting cooked on some of these possessions.

Series moving too fast for JK.

He’s better against a methodical half court opponent (why he was so good vs the Mavs this year) where he can focus on 1 or 2 tasks they assign him.

Game processing speed not there yet

  5. Dynasty_30

If we play the lakers should we advance, he’ll probably fit in a lot better. This just isn’t a good matchup for him

  6. People are reading too much into it. Kuminga has a very specific type of game right now and the matchups don’t work very well vs the Kings. I think he would have a lot more minutes vs the Suns.

is that Ty Jerome too? great to see he’s still there

  8. Wontonsoupz

This is a bad series for him. Super quick guards and need to know personnel super well to know which screens to go under and over precisely

Just heard Draymond say “feelings don’t matter, it’s the playoffs” on his podcast. He was talking about being okay with coming off of the bench but I’m sure he was sending a message toward Kuminga too (and perhaps others).

Anyone know who the lady is with the green jersey? Always see her near the bench

He’ll forever thank Iggy for this. Damn, what a luxury to have.

Kuminga is having a bad series, full stop. His defensive instincts/IQ are getting cooked by a fast team, and nerves are probably causing him to just go through the motions. He won’t get the same runway the big 3 did back in 2012-2014, where there were little to no expectations on how the team did.

It’s not unexpected, but he needs to grow up fast. This will be a good learning experience regardless

Their pace is something I haven’t seen since 2015 dubs. Insane.

I like jk and think he deserves 30 min a game somewhere. The playoffs are too fast for him. We needed to win this game and Kerr played the best lineup. He will have more chances. He looked like a deer in headlights in the playoffs

  15. Robotsaur

Why is Iguodala bending like that to be so uncomfortably close to his face?

  16. barktothefuture

How you think he feels he was picked right before davion Mitchell?

  17. sugarwax1

He’s a kid. I wouldn’t count him out but this series isn’t for him.

  18. unknownintime

THIS is why we have Iguodala and he’s worth more than every penny he’s earned with this franchise.

  19. contaygious

Gpii also barely played any Idea why? Nice dunk tho

  20. electricHats75

He came in and immediately Sacramento went on a run. It was bad bad

  21. monteasf

JKs been hot and cold. He was bad in every game except game 3, so he definitely COULD be a solid contributor but he’s gotta show more effort on defense and rebounding

  22. YipManDan

He didn’t play well today. Zoned out in Offense and missed a freebie rebound, got spun around on offense, clogged the paint, then messed up on defense again. He was taken off about that point.

    It aite, next game Kuminga.

  23. Wonderful-Media-2000

He’s been overall unimpressive when he’s been on the court in playoff games he just needs to do what he does in the regular season and he’s sure to make an impact

  24. King-Camyen

I have so much hope for the future of Kuminga

  25. michaelwong1116

His time will come, after we deal with the SAC backcourt duo and move on to the next round.

  26. Dannym7x

He cannot handle the combination of speed and herky jerky style of Fox. He is jumping around a lot instead of sliding on defense which makes him easy to shake. I feel like he still got pretty good contests but Fox made the shot so Kerr lost faith.

If we were winning this series by a bigger margin this would have been a great learning opportunity for him but we can’t afford it here.

  27. NazRyuuzaki

If we get past round 1 and we face the lakers, we will need him to guard their forwards. His time to shine will come.

  28. squiddyfresh

I’m happy he’s upset that he isn’t playing. I want players that want to help. He will be big going forward. Any fans dissing him is wrong.
