Congrats to him. Gets a fresh start. I like the fit with Houston. I expect them to have a somewhat new and improved team next season and being active this offseason. I think they get Harden back too

Snark aside, I’m very curious how he is with a team like the Rockets. Definition of a bad team culture the past couple seasons by all accounts. If he can turn them around, he might be the real deal of a coach. But what’s even the ceiling for them? Sniffing the play-in in 2 seasons?
Will be interesting to see how he does coaching this team? Was Silas really a bad coach ? Is Ime really a good coach ?

Only thing that possibly affects us is Ime taking his whole coaching staff back lmao. Either way Joe’s gotta rebuild that thing anyways, thing got depleted with Ime fired, Hardy leaving, Stoudamire leaving.
As much as I’m not sad he’s gone, I also hope that he’s learned something and wish the best for him in his new role, if best means finals appearances.
