    It isn’t just referee’s. It’s coaches too. Our local Y only had one parent volunteer to coach baseball this year. They are short 13 coaches. I use to coach but got sick of dealing with parents. It’s just brutal.

    JJ was one of the best college basketball players in the history of Duke…no one ever wanted to put him on the line because he was like 91% out of his entire career…and his 3pt shots were deadly too (40%). I can't wait to see what his son might do.

    Ya sure JJ that’s all you said… there’s always 2 sides to a story. It’s youth basketball not NBA JJ. Grow up and set a better example as a former NBA player. But that’s not gonna happen. Who cares. It’s again… youth basketball.

    If I did something wrong I heard about it loudest from my parents after the coach after the ref. People nowadays don't have any respect. That's what sports is built on.

    These youth referees I really wanted to be one they wanted that was one of my dream jobs however stressful as being an air traffic controller and I and I don't think that should be I don't think being a youth referee shouldn't should be as far as stressful as a air traffic controller

    Don't be that guy at a kids sporting event. My dad used to embarrass me cause he was the only parent on my team that yelled 😂. He was just cheering and coaching us up. I can't imagine how embarrassing it is for the kids whose parents really make a fool of themselves.

    JJ should referee some school games himself, try and fix the problem instead of adding to it. He might just learn a thing or two and have something sensible to say on the topic.
