The coaching staff did not utilize the personnel right (with examples)

We all know the roster was not great this year, but a bigger issue is how badly the players were utilized to be their worst versions. Kidd has to take the sole blame for this. Just a small example: Mcgee is widely regarded as a FO failure but he was a beast in Phoenix during the regular seasons. Kidd and the coaching staff took him out of his natural drop defense scheme that he has thrived in his entire career and forced him to play up in their switching scheme. It’s not like this roster doesn’t know how to play drop, they were playing it with KP all the way until last year. Rather than play to this roster’s strengths kidd made sure to get the worst out of the personnel he was given. This is why I believe even if we manage to shake up the roster, if the coaching staff is still here there is no hope for this team.
