I know it’s just a playful tweet, but it feels like there’s actually momentum on Dame to Brooklyn. Bridges made that odd, “I know people” quote and keeps teasing it. Beat reporters keep mentioning that the Nets may pursue Dame. Isola talked about Dame’s fit on the YES Network.
Maybe it means nothing, but it feels like one of those NBA secrets where everybody behind the scenes has a good idea of what will happen already, and the general public doesn’t know yet.

Doubt it goes down; reminds me of trading for Harden. I’d rather build through the draft than to star chase. But what do I know.

If Portland doesn’t make a big move to bring in pieces this off-season I think Dame’s ours. Keeping an eye out for Portland making a move for Toronto’s pieces

Dame to Brooklyn makes no sense to Dame ( not like this is his path to a title), BKN ( giving up major assets for 30+ guard that doesn’t put us over the top or near it) or Portland (who do they want from our roster? And better deals will be available from others)
Dame *and* a starting big and I get interested. My first choice is a star PF.

I don’t want this trade tbh. Dame is a great player but I don’t think he’s good enough to make us title contenders, and he’s already going to be 33 before next season, which gives us at most a 3 year window in all likelihood. Would much rather build on what we have and look for a move in the next few years
