Kings coach Mike Brown on De’Aaron Fox’s availability for Game 5, 2-2 playoff series with Warriors

Kings head coach Mike Brown speaks with reporters following Tuesday’s practice, looking ahead to Wednesday’s Game 5 of the opening round playoff series with Golden State, talking about De’Aaron Fox’s fractured left index finger on his shooting hand, watching him closely as he’ll try to play in that game, the 2-2 playoff series with the Warriors and playing faster than they’ve shown in previous games.

  1. The Kings and Mike Brown are extremely nonchalant in interviews and it's extremely scary to me. The refs have been allowing the Warriors to foul ridiculously for 4 games and the Kings should have swept and no one is phased and no one calls it out. They're all very folksy in their responses to the physicality. Like they have no concerns and know something we don't. I'm extremely upset about it and they speak as if absolutely nothing is wrong.

  2. Mike Brown is all class. Warriors fan for sure… but i could easily root for Sac just because of him.

  3. Brown is talking like Fox is out. Fox says he’s playing. Not sure what is real but I guess we’ll found out tomorrow. Brown is a legit coach of the year. As a Dubs fan, we knew he would improve their team. But he has them playing at a veteran level. Very impressive and he earned his flowers.

  4. Fox will play. He will play his normal minutes. He will score at least 24, possibly even 38 again. BANK ON IT. I don't buy this narrative that his injury is all that significant. Remember they said Sabonis was questionable and he didn't miss any time at all.

  5. this is not a knee…. i think he can only do so much more damage…… of course the have doctors to decide this
it has been a great year for the kings and their players…. watching them grow has been fun
    trust sensei brown

  6. The Sacramento Kings are in good hands with coach Brown, basic on what this young team has accomplished this year. I'm excited about the future of this team moving forward, regardless whether they win or lose in this series. Kings fan for life!##

  7. Fox shot an incredible end of game 3 after he broke his finger no problem. $30+ million player is going to play with a pinky injury. Well, unless you are Kawhi or Kyrie.

  8. Whoever wins this series aka the kings will go on to win the championship. Lakers are an old joke. Suns present a problem. East coast suxk
