I think randle is still hurt. Cavs got some good d from their big men but julius is just clanking open shots.

When Robot plays good and Randle's ass is glued to the bench this team has no flaws

I hope that Randle's troubles are condition related having been out for a few weeks prior to the playoffs and not having his full "legs" yet. We probably can and will win this series without our BEST Randle but we need his physicality in the next round. If Miami turns out to be the opponent, we NEED Randle. Miami will be a hard cover for the Knicks – low scoring, hard fouling and no blowout type of games. If the Bucks turn out to be the opponent, Giannis' health will determine the quality of that opponent and Randle's scoring will be important.
My guy. We dont want Julious Randle to find his rhythm in this series because if he returns to be a focal point of the offense its a huge risk. Boston is going to mangle him with those tactics they put on KD and Kyrie. When he turns his back they gonna strip him not like the cavs coming late. why they dont run plays for him in the mid range is beyond me. everytime they give it to him its iso ball. bad continuity man. thats the reason why we didnt trade for Donovan Mitchel because stars can be top heavy. i like our swiss army knife we had out there versus the cavs.

Randle and Immanuel Quickley have both struggled in a huge way offensively this series, but that kind of encapsulates the real difference between the 2 teams: Depth. The knicks have guys like RJ Barrett, Josh Hart, Grimes and Quickley to take some of the pressure off when their 2 star players are struggling offensively, where as the Cavs need Mitchell and Garland to both be scoring to stay afloat. Their lack of either bench production or secondary scoring options has killed them this series, and coach Bickerstaff has tried several different rotations to find the spark, but unfortunately for him and the Cavs they don't have those guys on the roster. Mobley has been completely unwilling/unable to provide any offense from outside the paint this series, and Lavert alone is not enough to compliment Mitchell and Garland
I hope Thibbs makes the adjustment and start Hart period. He’s a much better player than Grimes

I'll never understand why the knicks were considered the underdogs in this series. The knicks beat the cavs 3-1 in the regular season. Two of those games Donovan Mitchell went off for 40+ and they still lost those games. Cleveland playing at their best couldn't beat the knicks, why would the playoffs be any different?

Randle hasn't been the same since around 7:40 in the 2nd quarter of game 2. I think he'll play better in the 2nd round. I hope he plays better in game 5

This series just keeps showing how much depth matters, players will struggle many players have had multiple bad games offensively in this series like Randle, Quickly, Barrett, Grimes but they are up 3-1 because enough players showed up and had good games 3 of 4 times, depth wins here.
We definitely have to handle business in Cleveland.

I know most "experts" gave the series to Cleveland which is absurd considering 1) The Knicks dominated Cleveland in the regular season. 2) The Knicks are a good away team. 3) Jalen Brunson showed last year that playoffs basketball do not fazed him. He faced Mitchell and beat him, sometimes even without Doncic. So, the Knicks are not doing anything special to beat the Cavs. The Knicks are quite simply better than the Cavs.

Cav's were NOT A GOOD REBOUNDING TEAM IN THE REGULAR SEASON, while the Knicks have rebounded all year long. The lack of shooting from everyone except Garland and Le Vert has destroyed the Cav's offense. Also the Knicks have gotten terrific contributions from their bench. So far JB has outplayed DM.
Management has put together a deep solid roster that is underrated because they dont have big names. The knicks may be the deepest team in the league.
The only message I have for the Knicks is this … Don't let up! Don't throttle back now. The hardest thing to do in any series is to close out the other team. Winning the 4th and final game is probably one of the most difficult things to do. They need to continue to remain poised in big moments and weather the storm or onslaught. They really need to match the Cavs' desperation throughout the next game(s).

I still don’t understand why everybody thought the Cavs would be us. Our team is deeper than them, we play solid all around defense, and we dominate on the glass. I’ll they pick them just bc of who the Cavs got in Mitchell… and once again JB is taking out the trash!
