  1. If Koby doesn’t realise this man isn’t fit for the job, even though our roster has flaws, then Koby needs to go too

While Caris had decent individual performances, the offense really suffered when JB put him in the starting line-up, and despite it clearly not working in game 3. We stuck with it and got down big in the first half of all 3 games.

While limited on offense, Okoro played absolutely stellar defense on Brunson and knows his role on offense, giving DG and Mitchell room to operate. Starting Okoro also gives us the benefit of bringing Levert in as a scoring punch against their reserves.

While Allen was also terrible in the series, for me most of the blame lies with JB. They were better prepared, fought harder, made better adjustments and rotations, and changed the momentum with their time outs. You switch the coaches this series and the result switches as well.

  3. Okoro will be an all star if we get a better coach

    Dumb JB decisions:

    * Continuously put Garland as the main defender on Jalen Brunson

    * Gave Dean Wade, Lamar Stevens and Neto roughly 0 run

    * Played Rubio when it was clear after Game 1 he would be unplayable in this series

    * Continuously put Cedi Osman as the main defender on Jalen Brunson

    * Decided trapping Jalen Brunson (which led to over **67%** OREB RATE) was a better decision than just having Okoro defend him straight up

    * Didn’t realize that putting Mitchell Robinson into the pick and roll was a good way to remove him from sitting in the paint until Game 4.

    * Continued to demand a hard close out on Julius Randle who couldn’t hit water if he fell out of a boat from 3. Which just led him to collapsing our defense on drives.

I know I’m missing some — just a disasterclass from JB.

It’s bc he can’t really score well but yeah JB has odd rotation choices

There’s literally nothing left to defend JB with when the culture gave up mid series. Absolute disaster is right. You really cannot justify keeping the same head coach into next season in any way.
