The rollercoaster of a season for the 2022-23 Los Angeles Clippers is now over. It ends at the hands of the Phoenix Suns in another competitive fight till the end. The shorthanded LA Clippers yet again playing without Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, just didn’t have enough to overcome the Devin Booker and Kevin Durant scoring tandem.

We played really good, our stars were missing "yes", so what!! that's not why we losed this game, it's the coach we were up 9 and he started the 3rd with a "iso team", take a close look at that 5 no one in it plays particularly hard defense and he played them for 8mins hmmm we move from 9 up to 9 down because of that defenseless team after that 5 were removed we came storming back and played as good as the stars when sharing the ball…. we losed it in the 3rd quarter because of ty lue I know my comments are always directed at him and Marcus, I can't help it but something feels wrong as if he sells out the games….
Personally I hope Marcus get traded and Ty Lue is released from from his duties, khawi isn't going to come back with Ty Lue, he doesn't even speak or high five him etc etc
Any coach who don't play the young talent
Shouldn't be a NBA coach…Boston Jr and Coffey spent the whole season on the bench.

Run it back. Keep Russ and do whatever you can to keep Powell. Get rid of Morris and Eric Gordon for sure. One thing is for sure, I was right about Russ since he got here. You put almost any guard in the league in Russ position in these playoffs and there is no way any of these losses are that close or any of the games have the potential to be won.

Some of it definitely seemed like it was true, and some seemed like complete BS.
Anyways, I think there needs to be some hard conversations this off-season. IMO packaging EG Morris and PG for a younger star who plays a lot Is the move. I know we’re all frustrated kawhi hasn’t finished 3 straight playoffs, but when he was healthy he legitimately looked like the best player on earth. I don’t think you trade that guy.
There are 5 players in the league who can be the #1 on a championship team, and the clippers have one.
My thoughts going forward is that I hope the Clippers don't blow this team up and that they keep Westbrook, Kawhi, PG, Powell, Bones, Mann, Batum, and Covington. I don't care about losing the rest of the team because I believe they need more guys that can switch without being a liability and bigs that can stretch the floor as well as play the perimeter extremely well. The bigs don't necessarily have to be 7ft tall but of course they can't be 6'7 either unless they are an extremely great defender at that size. Imagine a guy like a Trey Murphy from the Pelicans at center but with a lil bit more body mass. Someone who's versatile with length that can defend get out and run as well as knockdown 3s and even if they can't shoot the 3 but can switch and defend well like a Nic Claxton from the nets at center. I honestly don't think Zubac is the answer at center he's too slow footed and I know it's not all on him and when Kawhi and PG is on the floor he plays and looks better but I still think it's time to move on. Also note that those are younger guys because this team needs that youth as well to rejuvenate the team everything can't be half court. The Clippers have to be able to play both ways the key is versatility on both ends of the court. As far as Ty lue as head coach I don't mind the Clippers keeping him next year but if they did choose to let him go it's only 2 coaches worthy of replacing him. My first choice for a new head coach was Ime Udoka but the rockets signed him already so my second choice is Nick Nurse. Nurse is the only good coach available if the Clippers move on from Ty lue because I believe he's the only one that can bring winning ways without disrupting the team. Clippers are only a few adjustments away from winning it all in my view.

I just recently became a clipper fan when Kawhi joined the team. I must admit I thought it was our year but injuries always seem to be a road block. The Westbrook signing was a great move and turned out better that I thought. Looking forward to next year hoping we can keep most of this team we got a good core group. Go Clippers

Let’s face it Kawhi is damaged goods, I think the Celtics if they don’t win this year would do a trade of Jalen brown for Kawhi since JB is always involved in trade rumors, then I would 1000% go after Naz Reid, a starting 5 of Russ JB PG batum Naz would be awesome, Zu is what he is a bench role player

2014 & 2015 hurt the most in my opinion. maybe i’ve just gotten used to being let down so my expectations are lower. also 14/15 i was in high school, so being the only clipper fan on the basketball team etc, i was hammered with hate constantly which made it worse. I still remember the Ballmer event in the summer at staples center when we were chanting “i love larry”. That’s when i knew things would change and i still trust in Ballmer.
We need to try to run with Kawhi, PG and re-sign Russ PLUS unload every other player over 30 years old (Except Plumlee as backup 5) and only take on new players under 30. We know from the start that Kawhi and PG will only play 40-50 games each, and 25-30 together. We train and practice for all four variations (w KL & PG, w KL, w PG, w neither). There is no playing favorites with the rotation, it's all merit based. Pretty sure Ty Lue is not the man for this.
Going into the season I had the Clippers as the second best team in the West behind the Nuggets however the team underperformed due to injuries and poor roster construction. I was critical of the roster construction from the beginning and ultimately I was proven correct. Vanderbilt and McDaniels were whom I recommended for month after month to fix the Clippers defense and the useless Laurence Frank didn't acquire them. I also banged on about the decision to get Wall over Hartenstein which was stupid and I said get rid of Morris from before the season started. I was also against the Eric Gordon for Kennard trade and I was correct as a rental of a 34 year old wasn't worth losing our 45 percent 3 point shooter and giving up a valuable pick swap. The only thing I got semi wrong was Westbrook however he was never leading this team to a title with or without the stars. This team needs changes. Will Steve Balmer change the roster and fire the management? I would start over again and fire everyone if I could.
TonyD, probably the only Clipper fan in Rhode Island, I want to blow this team up, they are old and very injury prone. Trade PG, Gordon, Kawhi and most of the rest and rebuild. Get what you can for these dudes before it's too late. I saw a trade rumor with the Knicks, who are looking for a star, it was PG for RJ Barrett, I. Quickley and Hartenstein. I would make that trade in a NY minute. That's what the Clips need to do, get younger and more athletic. Anyway love your show, you do a great job, and let's go CLIPPERS.😊
Time to blow up the team. I predicted that the team would be watching the majority of the playoffs on TV and that proved 100 percent accurate. The injuries do give the team an excuse to run it back but we really should not. Fire Laurence Frank and Ty Lue. Laurence Frank put together a dodgy roster and I can't forgive him and the coach was terrible throughout the regular season. Kawhi and PG13 would not have had to work so hard on defense if they were surrounded by better defenders. The fact is the trash Lakers are outperforming the favored Clippers tells you change is needed. I would not trade the stars for the sake of it but would listen to offers. If Portland want PG-13 for Shaedon Sharpe and Simons I would give Dame the second star he always wanted. If we get the Portland players then we should let Westbrook leave to a contender as Simons and Bones can be our PG going forward. Westbrook played better than expected and I wouldn't have a problem with him on a vet minimum deal but if we get Simons I would rather move in a new direction.

Max salary players need to play 30 minutes per game 70 games a season…. As this is never going to be the case with these 2 / no idea what to do.

Sucks it had to end so early and in the manner that it did, especially now knowing that Kawhi has suffered a meniscus tear. If we decide to do a rebuild, then no point in resigning Westbrook. If we roll it back one last time, then try and resign Westbrook.
I'll admit I didn't like the Westbrook signing at the time but seeing how he fits along side Kawhi and PG, it works. He does all the small things that this team has desperately needed: tenacious defense, offensive rebounding, pushes the pace and can hit the an open shot on the catch and shoot.

The Clippers are like a significant other that keeps breaking your heart and you keep going back…..they do it over and over to us every year and to be honest I've started to expect the bad luck to happen come playoff time.
But man we have had some talent coming thru over the years…from the Lob City era to the cold Doc Rivers team that lost in the bubble (that team had so much swag!!)
But even with all the disappointment they've given us and still do, I'm still going to support them. Shout out to Dime Dropper and all real Clips fans.

Trade Morris and Gordon. Possibly trade Batum or Covington. Sign jermai grant to start the 4. Resign plum or sign naz Reid. Resign Westbrook or pick up Fred van vleet to start point guard.
