[Tim Reynolds] Yes, the NBA says, there was a foul on the last Miami possession of regulation last night, the play where Jimmy Butler scored to tie the game. The uncalled foul was committed by Pat Connaughton, the NBA says.

Why doesn’t the NBA stop the game for a few minutes maybe even half an hour and fly down a special referee or something like that (don’t know what they’re called ) so they can get the right call

  2. HokageEzio

So the Bucks could have had their misery ended sooner.

  3. ZeroDependents

Wow! Should have been an And-1 to win the game! I thought it was a Flagrant 2, but I understand that the NBA has to be politically correct in this situation.

  4. resumehelpacct

I guess they think they have an angle showing Pat was holding Jimmy before Jimmy pushed him?

  5. Typical-Radish4317

Dumb. Leave it like the Reggie shot and let fans fight over it

  6. pagonator

At least if that foul got called, we wouldn’t have had to watch Grayson Allen have the ball in the biggest possession of the season with two timeouts still left

  7. MyNameIsAMeme

Wasn’t the push off from Butler also a foul though???

  8. ThatBull_cj

Bud probably still wouldn’t have used the timeout

  9. eutectic_h8r

Would Bud have actually used a timeout if that happened?

  10. SudTheThug

bucks fans were crying abt a push off and they had 45fts to our 17

  11. Fucking pat that dude was just pissing me off the whole series

  12. TheBoook

Us winning the game covered up some of the most atrocious officiating I’ve ever seen in an NBA game.

  13. Padulsky21

Are they gonna mention the phantom shooting foul call that Khris got to shoot 3 FTs in OT?

Adam silver woke up this morning and choose violence

  16. TheWolfInAllStreets

Needing the refs and still somehow losing 8vs5 as a 1st seed to an injured 8th seed is crazy

  17. MiaHeat420

The Lowry “foul” was also BS. They were willing to call it a foul on Lowry, but only “incidental contact” by Middleton after the review. Should’ve been Lowry at the line. You figure it out.

All things considered, that wasn’t a game the Heat were supposed to win (huge FTA disparity, 2 starters + bench player fouled out, missing Herro+Dipo), and they still won it.

8 x 5 , but jimbo said not on my watch lol

  19. everyoneneedsaherro

Imagine if Jimmy missed the shot lol

I actually for once didn’t feel a strong sense of injustice based on the reffing in game 5, which probably tells u that the Bucks were being heavily favored.

Maybe Jimmy pushed off, wouldn’t matter cause the Pat foul happened first and honestly nobody should really expect that kinda call to come in in that specific situation.

If I was a heat fan and we lost cause the refs called a push off and gave the bucks possession I’d be irate.

  21. SaintsNick94

Lol foul on Connaughton for being shoved

  22. Thellamaking21

I don’t think any bucks fan was really complaining about that too much. Fuck bud and we hope gianni’s makes some free throws next time

  23. electricHats75

Lmaooo Jimmy clearly pushed off. I’m not mad at the no call but don’t lie about it

  24. Own_Competition_46

Thankfully it wasn’t called… we all got to witness Grayson Allen in the clutch

  25. pericles123

Uh, what? Butler pushed the hell out of him

  26. gnoob920

This was pretty obvious? Was anyone even disputing the fact that pat was holding on to jimmy? Thought that was clear and it comes before the push off.

  27. trinquin

This is straight up asinine. Jimmy had one intention the entire time to shove Pat to create the space. Jimmys hand reach Pats chest first before Pats arm comes down onto Jimmys shoulder. And Jimmy did it all in one motion, so miss me with it was a reaction to Pat lmao. Pat was watching the ball.

One could also argue that the pass was a straight 50-50 ball and that Pat was the far more likely player to get it when they started going up. Pat is moving towards the ball and Jimmy away from it.

  28. chomcham

I don’t get why they inform us about fouls after the game. Is their anything done, does the team get penalized or something.

  29. VexInTex

People still mad like the Bucks didn’t have THIRTY more free throws lmao please get real

  30. godfree_Progress_IV

It was committed by Butler. F the nba
