If reports are to be believed, Russ and PG both decided to go to the Clippers together, but the Clippers passed on Russ. (rumors even suggest Russ and Kawhi were talking first)
Now Russ’s contract was obviously a big problem and they likely would’ve struggled to build around the trio. But man, the fit with the 3 of them is obviously there, and Russ in 2020 was doing some of his best work and proving he was coachable under D’Antoni.
He has to since kawhi and pg aren’t reliable enough to play atleast 65 games in the regular season heck even the playoffs
Through the new cba clippers are only able to offer westbrook 3.8 mill next year. Is that even possible?
