100% that fifth one. Thought we would be playoffs bound after that offseason for sure.

  2. I’ll go first: I used to think that we had some good pieces for the triangle offense with Afflalo, Lopez, O’Quinn, and Derrick Williams. I always told myself that we were a star or two away, which obviously was such flawed (experience damaged) logic.
I also thought that we could make a playoff run with O’Quinn, McDermott, Marcus Morris. And that Enes Kanter was a good signing that gave us some pop with rebounding.

  3. Part of me still appreciates guys like Langston Galloway and Lance Thomas as unheralded soldiers who gave us good burn when we had nothing to cheer about.

I will always have respect for Lance and Langston. I was young then and we were complete ass, but those two always impressed me with their heart. They weren’t the best players and the team was obviously not going anywhere, but I still remember Lance Thomas getting that clutch stop on Giannis in the second of two back to back games against the Bucks, redeeming himself from the last game. Also Langston just missing a game winner from the corner and lying on the floor heartbroken afterwards.

Two high character guys that I respect for sure.

This is Travis Wear erasure! He was our LeBron stopper

Hahaha thanks for the reminder, we should all appreciate what we have now so much. That first lineup was a very dark time. 🤣

  7. Holy shit has this team been through some dark times

  8. I could have sworn Damyean Dotson and Kadeem Allen were the backcourt of the future, such nice looking jumpers

Brandon Jennings and his ragtag bench squad is still one of my favorite units the Knicks ever put out.

Just threw in a shot of Mills to trigger us all even further.

We’ve come a long way fellas soak this shit up.

  14. I thought willy Hernangomez was gonna be Pau-lite. Yeah, not my best prediction.

Has to be the one with RoLo, and Arron

that team had melo and KP

I used to be jealous of Aaron Afflalo…..

  17. The year we actually got Bargnani I definitely had a lot of hope right after the 50 win year. Yeesh…

  18. TheMuffinMan33

5th for sure , Robin Lopez and KOQ were decent with us tbh

  19. voxdaylight

Remember when that fireworks-Derrick Williams meme was the only relevancy the Knicks had?

  20. NYJmmkay

adding RoLo, KOQ and Derrick Williams (who I thought was gonna have a breakout year) has got to be it

Some of these teams are straight nasty work

How about the big-3 triangle offense super-team with Rose, Melo & KP? I seriously thought we might be contenders with that squad.

16-17. Even though we knew Rose wasn’t the same I thought he’d still be a good enough starting PG He was quietly solid his last 2 years in Chicago and was actually pretty good in the 2015 playoffs I never thought Noah would’ve been THAT washed. On top of Melo and KP plus someone solid like Lee at shooting guard, I thought it would’ve been enough to sneak into the playoffs when the East was really weak

Where are Maurice Ndour, Jarret Jack, and Samuel Dalembert?
