no use making this something- just thought id post separately so no one is wondering where his comments are in the exit interview thread

It’s probably nothing but the optics of it will raise eyebrows

He’s constantly in trade talks and bashed by the fans wouldn’t blame him if wanted out.. that being said he was terrible all year until playoffs and 125 million for a vibes and handshake guy is poverty franchise things

Sounds like that’s for the best. Love JC, he’s always a class act and I’m sure we would have gotten a great pull quote from him saying something positive about Atlanta. But nothing good was gonna come out of questions about his poor play this year and his future with all the trade rumors. Hopefully we can get some positive trade value for him in the off-season and he does well in a new situation or he has a rebound year and returns to form for us.

Thank you Mr. Collins for always being a true professional throughout your time in Atlanta. We won’t forget about you sir.

  7. Glad I saw JC’s last game as a hawk. I wish him the best.

If we learned anything from the past, JC won’t be traded and will still be on the team next season. He always beats the allegations lmao

Him and Trae were the only ones that spoke after the game, like 12 hours before the exit interview. May or may not mean anything, but he might have just said what he wanted to say and not wanted to field questions about getting traded.
