Do we still even draft Miller with all these allegations circling him in regards to the murder charge. Really sucks this situation happened cuz I love the idea of adding Miller

I like Scoot but he's only 6'2. Our biggest hole is at SF and Miller fits the bill.
I don't care what our biggest need is. I'm not passing on Henderson!! Sorry!! Move Cade over to the 3. Ivey and handerson can switch between the 1 and 2 like Isiah and Joe did.

The biggest mistake you can make is drafting for needs in the NBA. You take the best player available.
The Pistons are not good enough to trade down and take the lesser, better fit player. No! No! No!
Miller gives this team more wins than scoot. Miller plays defense and reminds me of Tatum.

I like miller at 3, but if we get 4 I'd go with Jarace Walker. Miller still shoots the ball better, but Walker is a decent shooter and he would be way better defensivly playing the 3. Basically a more athletic Beef Stew with a better shot coming in.
If Wemby is gone take Miller! Please FORGET about drafting another guard! What if Scoot turns out like Killian Hayes or worse? Plus Detroit already has two other newbies playing guard. Miller would make an impact straight away. We need WINGS. If Wemby and Miller are gone take Cam Whitmore.
You know Detroit will be picking 4th or 5th, bet on it. But Miller is a great choice.
In our situation I believe you pick for TALENT, then adjust as needed with what you have to make the "fit". Wemby = 1, Scoot = 2, Miller =3.
I was big on adding Brandon Miller, maybe even at 2. However, I'm extremely concerned with his personal situation. I did not know of the murder investigation. If that is the case, and we end up at 3, I would trade the pick. I'm not high on the Thompson twins at all. They are young and athletic, but they CANNOT shoot. And I think it would be too early to take some of the other guys of interest. Ideally, Trade down a couple spots, and get Gradey Dick/Taylor Hendricks/Jett Howard. Maybe you can get a late lottery pick also and get GG Jackson/Kris Murray.
This would address wing depth/shooting, and the PF position. Which is my biggest concern for this team.

Draft Henderson at 2. Trade Ivey for the third pick and draft Miller.

I think they would have a few options. Take Henderson and then immediately trade him for pick 5 or 6 to take Kris Murray and pick up whatever a team offers. Or, take Henderson, and now Hayes is on the trading block. Or do what you guys are discussing and get Miller outright or flip the pick and get Miller and whatever in a trade. NO matter what it is if Pistons land at two they will have the big headache in the draft.
We got Cade and Ivey; Scoot seems like a ball handling logjam waiting to happen. I like Miller – dude would be the best fit for this team outside of the moonshot in Wemby. Miller gives me Jayson Tatum/Jabari Smith vibes. 3-D, great length and shooting touch
Nobody trades down from 2 to 3 in the draft. No team is going to help the pistons acquire extra assets just to move up 1 pick, when said pick is not #1 overall

Can someone PLEASE tell me why we traded Bey?!?!? Seen that he fell out of rotation a little bit, but dude literally kust scored a 50 ball last year!!!
The main thing I'm trying to determine is if Scoot is even that much better than Ivey. In terms of raw speed and athleticism I think Ivey has the edge. In terms of IQ and feel for the game I think Scoot is similar to Cade. So in a way Scoot is a combo between Cade and ivey. For me though I just don't think Scoot is gonna move the needle as much for the Pistons since we already have two good young guards. I can just see a logjam happening, and all of them having their development stunted. This is why the Brandon Miller pick just makes so much more sense to me. The dude has been balling out of control and would be a huge addition to this team both in terms of fit and skill. If we get the 2nd pick, I'd trade back to #3 and acquire Miller plus extra assets. We got a nice core already, so we don't necessarily have to go for the homerun hit every single time.
I believe The Pistons will get The 3rd Pick possibly The 4th Pick. I see them getting Brandon Miller. Scoot Henderson and Jaden Ivey ate the same player.

Brandon Miller is Perfect for the Pistons. We don't need another PG or Ball Handler in Scooter; we have Cade, Ivey and Killian! We need a Wing that can shoot. Miller can handle the ball, catch and shoot and move without the ball. He is the missing piece to the Puzzle. We have the PG, SG, PF and Centers. Now we need that 3D Wing.
