I remember how Lee was so into learning about the Knicks history while in NY. He always had my respect for how he composed himself playing for the team.

I have Lee’s jersey, it was like $20 used on eBay haha. Knicks fans often ask me why the hell I’m rocking a DLee jersey, which I always find to be a bit ignorant.
Our first home-grown All-Star since Pat, our first All-Star in nearly a decade (god… the Isiah years were such shit), and the first sign of life in a really dark period of Knick’s history. NBA champ to boot!
David Lee is proof that when a franchise is at its lowest, you don’t always need star… just a bright light. I’ll always be a fan!

A toast to him and rebounding.
A Knicks legend that doesn’t get enough praise.

Beloved blue collar knick. 18/10 in his prime. 2x all star
Got that big contract (for the time) won a chip, married a model. Charmed life.
