Imè Udoka Hiring for the Houston Rockets Signifies it’s TIME to WIN!

The past few years the Houston Rockets have sacrificed winning and even development for the opportunity to acquire young talent. Jalen Green, Jabari Smith Jr, and whomever this draft brings will be the end of that movement. Ime Udoka is here for ONE reason and one reason alone, teach these young men how-to-win!

  1. You have a lot of critiques about the Rockets tanking. But what else were they supposed to do?

They could’ve held on to Allen and Levert from the Harden trade, but they would’ve won more games so then they don’t get the opportunity to draft Green at #2. Maybe they end up in a later draft position and end up with Kuminga instead.

Then the following year, they keep that core together and play Wall and they’re drafting between 6-10 and rather than getting Jabari Smith, they get Dyson Daniels instead.

And then this year, they run it back again, and end up with Jarace Walker instead of knock on wood Wemby, Scoot or Miller. And they also don’t have as much cap space either.

Do we really think that a roster of

    Guards: Wall, KPJ, Daniels, Levert

Wings: KJM, Kuminga, Tari Eason, Jarace Walker, Tate

    Bigs: Jarret Allen, Sengun

Do you think that that roster has more long term upside than what the Rockets currently have particularly if their pick lands top 3?

The worst place in the NBA is being stuck in the middle like the Wizards who aren’t good enough to compete for a title but not bad enough to land a top talent in the draft

  2. I believe Kevin porter jr will go back to being a shooting guard,if it’s the position he wants to play then let him +he can go back to being a great back up shooting guard all I’m saying is don’t be surprised if that happens

  3. I believe this is a great hire because he has the capabilities to teach these young guys how to play right,I wouldn’t mind seeing a few players come in especially if they’ve been in the league especially if they’ve been somewhere we’re they’ve made it far in the playoffs far
