[Bondy] Butler was barefoot with significant swelling. Size of a baseball. Bad sprains don’t just disappear overnight. They linger. They can change a series. But Knicks didn’t take advantage in Game 1. They didn’t attack Butler even though he could barely move.

i hate the narrative that we didnt attack butler. the heat were in control pre-injury AND lowry closed us out on the offensive side
we also tried to push the pace and we ended up turning the ball over
i doubt he plays G2, especially since they won and he tries for an optimized game 3
Tough loss but Butler’s ankle is gonna be fucked for the rest of the series. Question shifts to how Randle’s ankle will be and if the Heat have the guns left to keep up.
As much as I wish no Ill on any player butler being out can be the luck we need.
He will play every game cuz that’s our luck
We were terrible. Not sure why anyone is concentrating on attacking the injured player. Thibs was terrible all game. Adjust and move on.
What even is the Heat offence without Butler, it’s basically just pass him the ball or spam 3s
Lol you guys are crazy.
He’ll be play next game and then have 4 days off to rest at home.
Series is yours, knicks fans. Congrats
God I hope he misses the rest of this series..
Heat and Knicks continue to destroy each other. remember it was the Heat who initially injured Randle
Two of the best players playing on bum ankles. It really is a shame. Hopefully both are good enough to play effectively by game 3
battle of the ankles wiht randle vs butler. hopefully they don’t run into ken shamrock or kurt angle with their ankle lock holds
thibs playing checkers
knicks been injuring the opponents players best players this whole season.
The injury didn’t look bad on TV, and even though they didn’t use him, Miami kept him on the court for the rest of the game. I doubt that attacking Butler would’ve fixed our problems or changed the outcome of the game. If game 2 was a must win then Butler would probably still play, if we’re lucky they let him rest.
I just want Randle to heal so people here can stop fantasizing about beating up Miami’s hurt players.
