They do need a new coach. But will Weaver see that?
If Casey gets replaced it’s hard to speculate with who because we don’t know what coaches will get fired until the end of the year.
We need someone with defensive and offensive schemes. We don’t know what Casey is doing exactly. But they also have to have had success with young players.
A thing to think about is coaches and assistants who were there when OKC was good because Weaver might go with someone he knows.
Steal Chauncey Billups from the trailblazers. Actually what do you think of making Rojan Rondo assistant coach. He’d be great as a team vet/coach.

I just find is so funny. I watch a lot of games through the opposing teams telecast. And all these commentators talk so positively about Casey. He's so well respected, and they all say the Pistons are in good hands. But if you ask Piston fans, he's like the worst coach ever and they want him fired. Like, think about that for a minute. I think Pistons fans are just sick of losing and want change. But is a new coach the solution? What if we keep Casey and we start winning because the players are growing up? Will people change their tune on Casey?
your team shouldn't get rid of Casey, in fairness he should at least get a chance to coach in 2023-24

So I just listened to a Jerry Stackhouse interview where he talked about as a player when he went from leading the league in scoring to 22 points per game his team went from 30 wins to 50 wins. That was when we got Ben Wallace and started on our way to being great. Stackhouse says as a coach he instills in players that the goal is not individual stats but rather winning basketball.
I have to say that I am kind of sold on him now. I want Stackhouse. Hire Sheed as an assistant coach to work with our bigs.
