I have ZERO issues with Sabonis not dapping anyone you. Less then zero. None. Nada. Zilch.
That actually makes me more optimistic about Sabonis bouncing back next season.
I've thought about this today and I'm most definitely confident Sabonis will use this as a stepping stone and building block to reach the next level.
I'd have zero issues if Sabonis went full Bill Laimbeer for now on. Who cares if the other teams players and fans like You or not. I mean who cares? So what.
Reggie Miller was literally hated by every opposing fan base and players until MAYBE the final year of his career.
Opposing teams didn't hug after games and exchange jerseys in the 80s and 90s and even 2000s.
We hated them they hated us. Every team hated each other for the most part. Not saying it has to repeat to that again but I for one could care less if it did and it made the Games WAY more fun to watch.
Lebron started this being friends with every player Era. Sabonis didn't Dap anyone up or shake hands??
GREAT!!! I LOVE IT. I want that side of Domontas to come out more. If anything Domas is TOO NICE. He's like the exact opposite of A villan. I'd wish he'd embrace the villain role more.
Barnes Is A tough one in some ways. Is He worth 27 million A year? That's what I believe I read. He's only 30 years old. Will be turning 31 soon.
He was absolutely a no show after Game 2. But this was a very good regular season. From what I've read He choked hard his final year in Golden State and Mavericks must have moved off of Him for a reason.
First winning season since He became A king. He was vital this regular season for sure. Maybe He got wore down. Maybe they should start load managing him.
I think ultimately if Fox and Brown REALLY want Him back he will be back. Him barely playing the last 3 games is very telling though. You usually don't pay someone 27 million a year to play 15 minutes in the playoffs.
Kings are pretty nasty, I'm a dubs fan so I'm glad the dubs pulled it off, but Sac got something brewing. Great coming out party, reminds me of ours in 2013.

I hope Domas doesn't get too much heat for this series, everyone thinks he didn't play well but they don't realize our defense was keyed in on Domas the whole time, not Fox or Monk. There was a reason they kept having the driving lanes they did.
Also the kings media team is really good too, and I agree with the Draymond Green take, lol. Like Looney said, shoulda been a double tech and play on. Draymond was being salty by bringing him up in the podcast.
As a native of Sactown I can agree with that and as much as I wanted them to beat the warriors I think it was cool just to finally be in the conversation as one of the best teams in the league. We’ve waited so long for this moment and although some of us felt that they would make the playoffs, majority of us didn’t see the kings getting the 3rd seed and being on the cusp of beating the defending champions. Yeah it’s annoying seeing so many warriors fans out here I feel like this city will mainly be kings fan soon 🦁👑💜🖤🤍💪🏿
Great episode Matt as always and an even greater season! Historical to say the least, and I know we'll keep building on this in the future. One thing I'd like to recommend for offseason coverage, is covering a talent named Kai Sotto. I definitely am biased due to him being a Filipino, but objectively I think he's a great fit for our Kings team. He's 7'3 (2.18 cm) with a 7'5 winspan. He's young, and he's a very hard worker and he's been working hard after being undrafted for this season's draft class. I don't think he at the level to make it to the team yet, but I think if we can develop him in the Stockton team he can end up being the length that we've been needing in the Beam Team roster for a long time. Besides that though, I'm excited for the future offseason content, and I'm definitely going to stay here until the next season starts! 💜👑🏀🔥

Obviously…draft stuff. Possible Free Agents the King's should target. Be it those returning or new players who could come to Sacramento.
Some interviews with Kings players and coaches. Maybe even a backstage look at the training, therapy and medical sides of what happens day to day with the Kings players. The stuff we don't get to see game to game.
Maybe an interview with Monte McNair and anyone in the scouting department as well. Get an idea of what all goes into their jobs.
Maybe even an interview with Slamson if possible. Find out what it is like to be an NBA mascot.
I don't know what it possible to make happen. But, it just gives a chance to give the hard working people a chance to get some flowers that don't always get the recognition they deserve who make the experience great at the Golden One Center.
I love fox but he gave up in game 7 and he is not much of a leader
Fox blamed sabonis for the loss over and over in the interview but he gave up after halftime and didn’t even try
Problem with fox is he was more concerned with hugging green and curry than he was winning , also he made sure to blame sabonis in post game interview but never took any blame himself. Fox is not a good teammate

Draymond pretending like he had respect for Sabonis is rich. Draymond is the only player in the league I wish harm to. He doesn't deserve to play in the league. If this were the Stern era he would have been out of the league years ago. I hope Draymond gets what he deserves. Someone kick that man in the balls.

Don’t agree that points is the only way fox can become a legit superstar. Sure it helps as long as it still leads to wins & his fg% is the same or better. But if he shoots a higher volume & scores more but his fg% is down and takes questionable shots then he got worse even if he score 30pts per game.
