It was ugly but a wins a win. Got a lot of time until the next game, gotta regroup and take one on the road.

  2. PUT SOME MUTHAFUCKIN’ RESPECT ON RANDLE

PUT SOME MUTHAFUCKIN’ RESPECT ON BRUNSON

PUT SOME MUTHAFUCKIN’ RESPECT ON RJ

PUT SOME MUTHAFUCKIN’ RESPECT ON THE HARTS

PUT SOME MUTHAFUCKIN’ RESPECT ON THE KNICKS

BUTLER, SPO, MIAMI. SMDFTB WE’LL SEE Y’ALL IN MSG SOUTH

  3. minecate3

We needed this, and now it’s a series, but this has to be the BASELINE moving forward. No Jimmy, some favorable calls from refs and just able to squeak it out. I don’t care what the seeding is. We have to be much better if we want to win this series.

  4. GoldenBoyRecords

This was the ugliest win of the year but I will take it. Randle has a monster game. Brunson rebounded after a slow start. Hartenstein was MVP tonight for me his work on the glass and just battling down low sparked us in the 4th. Thibs has to do some serious adjustments in these next couple days because right now he is getting outcoached.

  5. That Brunson 3+Hartenstein FT was insane reffing ngl. That ball hit the rim on Miami’s “shot clock violation” too. The league itself stepped in to stop us from gargling Gabe fucking Vincent’s nuts on our way to two consecutive losses at home in the playoffs.

Extremely embarassing shit all around. We got away with murder here, maybe the most frustrating game I’ve watched in my entire life. Thank God for Josh fucking Hart man.

Our bench is arguably the most talented one in the league and Quickley and Grimes have just decided to not exist in the biggest series for this club in the last 20 years.

The entire team needs to wake the fuck up, starting with Thibodeau. Way more talent than these flopping bums from South Beach, can’t allow Spoelstra to keep coaching circles around him with gimmicks like the zone and the walking corpses of Kyle Lowry and Kevin Love.

  6. Thank you for the ugliest win I have ever seen. Player of the game is IHART!!!

I need a fucking cigarette or a blunt, and I do not smoke.

  7. We won. Great game by Barrett. Brunson *FINALLY* turned it on in the 2nd half. Randle was good all-around, outside of like 2 mistakes.

But damn, what a disappointing win. The team did not play well enough outside for a few stretches here and there.

Hoping they get their groove back the rest of the series.

  8. xDestroyerj

I’ll take a win however we can get it.

  9. shilockthejew

I feel like I was just in a fight, solid win but a battle all the way

  10. jester32

I don’t care whose in whose out this is gutsy af win

  11. not goin to lie, I think the refs made their parley after the half, and willing this series to 7 games.

  12. adnanistheogfam

AND TO MSG SOUTH WE GO. LETS GET 2 IN SOUTH BEACH

  13. constantmeow

I am asking Hart to be my bf I am nervous but I love him so much

  14. zOmgFishes

All 3 of our Mid 3 showed up. RJ and Randle in the first half, Brunson in the second. Hart doing his thing.

  15. GET YOUR ASSES IN HERE AND CELEBRATE THIS WIN!!!

  16. velocissimo

What a fucking run at the end though!!!! FUCK THE ENTIRETY OF MIAMI

  17. AndyStankiewicz

fun fact: Knicks love playing on the Road!

  18. hoodiemelogod

I’ll take that shit, see you in Miami Jimmy

  19. FloppyDonkeyDongss

Fuck you Miami. Fuck you Heat fans. Fuck you r/NBA.

  20. sdotmills

Everyone better remember that Hartenstein has that dog in him. Three offensive rebounds/tips in one trip in a crucial part of the game. We don’t win if he wasn’t working his goddamn dick off

  21. All of you fair weather whiners can go kick fucking rocks.

  22. top-knowledge

IHART deserves a ton of credit for this W. he made so many hustle plays in the ladder half of the 4th to keep us in the game

  23. Hats off to Randle, he showed the fuck up after injury

  24. Sigerlion

Caleb Martin and Gabe Vincent better shoot 2/15 the next 2 games to balance out whatever the hell happened tonight.

  25. All our displaced New Yorkers in Miami, please come out in full force!

  26. ZoidbergSaysWoop

Thibs has to space out Brunson’s minutes more in the first half to have him rested for the second.

Which means more minutes for Deuce McBride.

Quickley and Barrett are letting Vincent cook them too easily.

McBride, Hart, Barrett, Toppin, and Hartenstein in the second unit with Barrett as the primary handler to create with screen action is the key.

Knicks need McBride and Hart to actively defend Vincent.

If the Knicks contain him, they contain the Heat offense.

  27. TheHoneyDuke

If Brunson plays like he played in the second half for the whole game this wouldn’t have even been close. I don’t know why it took Josh hart so long to remember he is a monster on the boards

  28. jerejeje

Happy with the win obviously but I am EXTREMELY concerned about our ability to beat Miami with Jimmy Butler. Thibodeau needs to change something because large portions of that game were infuriating to watch.

  29. The Heat are a DEEP team. The Knicks need to be ready for Jimmys return, next game will only be tougher

  30. Melodic_Dragonfly399

So many in that game thread don’t deserve to call yourselves Knicks fans. Bitch made pussies. You can be upset when a game isn’t going the way you like but keep our players names out your dirty ass mouth with shit like “Brunson is trash” and “Randle fuckin sucks” how bout you migrate to the Nets sub you fake ass fans

  31. hadmeintiers

Everyone circlejerking about how this game was close without jimmy ignoring randle missed game 1 and it was also close

  32. will122589

To those going how we barely beat their second stringers: we did it while getting zip from Obi, Robinson, Quickley and Grimes on offense while Miami got the absolute best their ever gonna get from Martin, Vincent and Struss.

If a hobbled Jimmy plays, neither of those three players are combining for 60 points period again. And if Jimmy doesn’t play, those three ain’t gonna play this good again

  33. MarvinWebster40

Hart and Brunson are my favorite Knicks since Mase.
