What were your thoughts on the MVP announcement?
Expected. He had a great season and it was going to be given to him because he hasn't won one. Just like Justin said, it was his turn.
Congrats to Embiid I guess🤷🏾♂️ No to Brooks, I've had enough of players who can't shoot well in the post season. Giannis needs his 1b teammate. The talent is sooo good in the NBA and only getting better. He needs the guy that will relieve some pressure and make a tough bucket when it is needed, because as much as I love Ginnis, he isn't really that guy. Question is, who is that and how do they get him in Milwaukee green. Luka anyone???
EDIT: im praying to EVERY God out there that Boston, Philly, Miami, Denver, LA, or PHX dont win anything
FIREEEEEEE BUDDDDDD🔥🔥🔥🔥 APPLY THAT PRESSURE
I believe we can still win another chip next season with the same team and coach…..its just my opinion
As i said again focus on Firing Bud and lets trade Brickleton.Butler take less money than him.For me only Giannis and Brook should be safe.
Fire Bud they won in spite of him in 2021, dont give Dillon Brooks an interview we dont need a perimeter defender let him go to Dallas or China
Jrue got cooked on defence and took too many hero ball shots for no reason. We didn’t focus on his declining defence in the regulars season because he’s supposed to turn it up in the playoffs but that never happened. His best defensive matchup is against small guards who dribble the ball.
The Bucks took a sedative at the start of the 4th quarter in each game against the Heat and crashed out in spectacular fashion 1st round, so why are you doing the podcast nearly everyday? Its like salt in the wounds.
We got put out in the first round Kane give it up pleasee!!!
Jrue is a victim of what happened in this series. Buttler totally wiped the floor with him and then added insult to injrury and jrue was unable to respond in any way. Nobody is going to take him seriously after what happened. He can have as many good games as he wants and everybody will remember how he got completely exposed in this one.
1) Bud no adjustments, bad game management, bad substitution decisions and patterns.
2) Giannis let down everyone with sitting out 2 games. There is hurt and there is injured. Giannis checked out fine with no injury. A low back/tailbone contusion is pain/discomfort. He was fine enough to sit on the bench on his contusion. But it was not surprising because the Bucks and Giannis take a conservative /casual approach all season…sitting out games. Against the Heat it was arrogance to think it would be ok to sit because the Heat couldn’t beat them.
Also where was Giannis’s focus and intensity for the playoffs. He decides a week before the playoffs..to bring up himself…that he almost retired in 2020?? And his reasons were mental health?? Please feeling pressure to perform and be paid 250million is an insult to people who do really suffer from mental health issues. But fans and some media ate it up. But his focus obviously was not being locked in for playoffs. Then to prove it even more…right after they were eliminated he gets defensive how season wasn’t a failure. What?? It was mind boggling that he really wanted to get that out…then give reasons. It’s like wow Giannis many fans support all year..for years and years and you reduce it to…it’s not that big of a deal. He did not show the killer competitor that you have to be.
So if it’s hard to understand ..insert Jordan in his place. If you think Giannis has a lot of off court businesses/endorsements/commitments to handle…not even close to what Jordan has. So do you think Jordan would have brought up some out of the blue news like almost retired a week before start of playoffs? Do you think Jordan would have never came back in Game 1 then sit Game 2/3 from back contusion? Before you defend Giannis being so hurt…this is the same team/same player who sits 15-20 games a year. He lost the benefit of the doubt.
Then after losing in 1sr round in biggest upset ever…would Jordan defend the season and argue passionately it wasn’t a failure.
Giannis is killing his legacy and I don’t even think he notices or cares.
Crying about MVP in may smh
No Bucks exit interviews available? Like Kane mentioned , got to talk about JayCrowder wirh his comments.
I think it's important to point out that jrue made that statement last off season, not this off season
SHOW NOTE: In the comments, DeVonte quite rightly points out that the Jrue podcast comments came quite a while ago. We did mention it on the pod briefly back then but there wasn't the same level of urgency as there is today, which is why it's a talking point! Bad hosting on my part by not mentioning that, I had it in my show notes. That's my error!! Thanks for keeping me accountable Bucks fans!
kinda rooting for philly to lose to boston now that they've won 2 playoff games without the mvp. would def make embiid's award look suspect in hindsight lol
