Warriors basketball… torture.
Basketball is so simple sometimes
Vs the Kings, whoever had more possessions & less TOs won the game, every single time. Regardless of any other stats. It was a possession & turnover series.
The Lakers is a paint points & FTs series. Outscored by 30 in the paint, 20 at the line. That’s it that’s game if they don’t improve those margins, and SIGNIFICANTLY, they won’t win. Because they’re not gonna hit 21 3s at 40% every game. They won the possession battle by 14 & had less than 10 TOs and lost….tells you what’s important.
29-6 is still making my mind boggle lol

Ed Malloy – 6 calls on Warriors; 6 calls on Lakers
Nick Buchert – 6 calls on Warriors; 3 calls on Lakers
Marc Davis – 12 calls on Warriors; 3 calls on Lakers
Not only did Marc Davis not call a single foul on the Lakers after the first quarter, he called 5 of the Warriors’ 6 fouls in the 4th quarter. Super normal.

While I have hope… Dubs aren’t likely to hit as many 3s, Lakers will hit more 3s, Reeves will get more fouls and free throws.
And yes, AD and Lebron will be tired but so will the Warriors… and the refs will *NEVER* let them rest by getting to the line.
It’s going to be 5v8 with 1 days rest in between.
Silver wants 6-7 games and he’ll get it.
But he also wants LA and Bron in the Finals and he’ll get that too.
I knew as soon as that ludicrous trade to completely remake the Lakers went through for Westbrick, who’s stock couldn’t have been lower, ridiculously netted all those players.
people who thought this was gonna be an easier series than Kings are just delusional. lakers are like 16-7 overall and 4-0 against us (counting last night) since the westbrook trade
they got size in the paint and on the perimeter. The combination of vanderbilt and AD is gonna make this a very tough series for Steph.
We gonna be reliant on 3’s this entire series cuz of AD’s rim protection . Last night we shot pretty good from 3 and still lost, we gonna need to shoot great from 3 to win a game. and the question is can we do that 4 times in a series on 1 day rest in between… i’m not optimistic
I have no idea what to do. It was probably our best game in this series while kind of ugly game by Lakers. At least I hope it won’t be a sweep
Im an AD fan, and the key in beating him is to double him as much as possible. He struggles to deal with double teams and how to maneuver past them. I think it’s a key to beating them
I hope that Kuminga becomes a key factor in this series. We need big bodies and switchable wings out there. I think it’s it’s time to try him out
