This going to sound like an excuse but ever since KD left GS he's had to be superman for his team. First year with Nets Kyrie goes down and Harden on one leg vs the Bucks with on a team with no depth or comprehible role players. Second year its KD and Kyrie again with no depth or very good role players and they get swept by a loaded Celtics team. This year is much of the same. KD and DBook would have to both score 40 for them to even have a CHANCE against a much better and deeper Nuggets team. The truth is GS was perfect for KD not just because of Curry but how GS play the game. Since leaving GS…KD has been asked to outscore another team by himself and/or with one other scorer to beat more complete teams. The days of one or two players can carry a team is over. Role players, depth, and a competent offensive system is needed to win or atleat two out of the three.
I think you are taking quite a few liberties with saying the suns were at the pinnacle of their offense and building.. lol. Not your fault, but you obviously don't know much about the nuggets… they are not a 3rd quarter team. First and fourth quarter… best clutch defense in the nba. And Phoenix had under 75 through 3… hardly the pinnacle of offense. Cp3 going down was inevitable… didn't give denver credit 2 years ago when it players were hurt.
I'm mostly an NFL fan, but I love seeing the Suns lose. While I'm from KC, i live in Phoenix and you have the most detestable players and the worst fans. Keep losing every year.

We have no Bench production. I would almost start Landry at PG or Booker and bring Paul off the Bench and try and keep him in the 25-30 minutes range. Maybe save him for 2nd half.

Not looking for a good backup PG bites us again like last year. I hate it when an obvious problem was not addressed and give full trust in an aging CP3 and inconsistent Payne.

Nuggets in 5 as it looks now the james Jones executive decisions has messed the suns defense up,they have no depth,the tj warren terrace Ross signings were terrible both dudes don’t play no defense and are average to mid scorers,biyambo and landale don’t give you nothing at center,should’ve never signed ayton to that deal,he’s the softest center in the league,and Durant lower injuries are showing he’s slower his jump shot doesn’t have the same lift,that trade was horrible looking back at it now.
Seems to me that even when the bench players come in, they all defer to KD or Book and don’t look for their shot!

My opinion I feel like suns barely win a close one in Denver is CP3 didn’t get hurt. I feel like CP3 was making some tough shots when it mattered during the game. Durant hasn’t been the Durant we know and Booker can only do so much after a while he needs back up.
Start Shamet and give him the ball. Let him shoot. Shooters need to hoist a few. Landry scored 31 on Christmas Day against the Nuggets. He can do it again.
Phoenix never should have been expected to win this series. Durant hype is just hype dude has a career of playing with hall of famers and not winning anything and is old….. just like Paul. They have played a dozen games together when Denver has all year. Denver is deeper, more athletic, better defensively, better from 3, have home court with altitude and the best player in the series. Everyone bought into the hype despite the overwhelming evidince that they weren't going to win.

I appreciate the optomism. Support your team, no matter what. Having said that, there is no realistic way the Suns can win this series. They don't have the bench or rotation to sustain a game plan that will beat the Nuggets. They may win a game, but without CP3 they will not likely win two. And yes, I am a Nuggets fan.
