It’s just funny. I’ve been a lifelong Lakers fan and if you were fortunate enough to have seen the Kobe/Shaq era you know the way it works. When you live in the paint you will get more foul calls, additionally it’s really straightforward, since the All-Star break we constructed a team the prides itself on defense. Knowing that we defend really well and ensure we don’t foul unless it’s unavoidable.
Any decent coach beats into there players not to foul the 3, which unsurprisingly is exactly where the GSW’s live.
Trust me I’ll complain about fouls calls but when you look at the two different styles of play the discrepancy makes sense.
