People quickly forget the turmoil we could have faced to start the year. Hell people’s worst fears could have been realized and were under .500 near the trade deadline, and Jaylen requests a trade because he doesn’t seem this team going anywhere.
Mazzulla and the team won when we needed it most to start the year, got a top 2 seed, didn’t choke in the first round, and are currently 1-1 in the second round.
We can still win it all. Joe is only going to continue to gain playoff experience and improve as the playoffs go on

I just hope this team starts playing consistently like they did in that Nets series last year. They were locked the fuck in. Had Durant in absolute hell for a lot of it. I’ve never seen him clamped like that.

Even if the Celtics stumbled over ass backwards this season, I’d still give him props for stepping in with a weekend’s notice in the midst of a scandal. Regardless of what he has or hasn’t done IRT coaching strategy, fact that the ship was steadied and they improved on last year is impressive.
