This could be a good thing. Hopefully they bring in some vet assistant coaches with experience. It’s also good they are acknowledging their lack of player development. Wouldn’t be surprised if someone from the Go-Go gets hired. They seem to have been doing a great job over there.
This is starting to feel like the Jim Zorn hire. If WUJ winds up GM….that would be a strange timeline.

I would say that this is hard to believe but it’s not because were the wizards, a bottom five franchise , with a bottom five owner, and a bottom five coach.
WUJ is going to be given every opportunity to succeed. Ted definitely doesn’t want to fire him (money + name).
It really does seem like seeing Rui doing good in the playoffs pissed off Ted making him fire Tommy and our main developmental guy.
Should bring Silas on as an assistant. He was a bad head coach but he’s well-regarded as an assistant. Definitely knows his stuff.

Hey just like the Commanders. Let’s not have the GM pick the coach. That works out well. Being a sports fan around here is a thankless task.
