  1. Cav fans. Pls help us out. Get them to move spida to where he belongs in NYC. You'll get a solid return

  2. For some of the fanbase this is the team they deserved, the type fans that would point out how Allen is not good (JOG player) how JB is mediocre to below Avg, how DG acts like a child at times, how no move was made it to trade deadline to strengthen the bench.. the type of fan that sits back and says oh yeah this was a learning experience like Mitchell gonna retire a Cavs.. for those fantasy cavs fans This Is the team they deserved… Listen to constructive criticism sometimes fantasy fans might learn something

  3. Like I said…
    Knicks in five.
    And Donovan isn't your problem.
    You're simply badly constructed.
    Your bigs are too light.

  4. Want to tip our caps to the entire Chase Down crew. The Cavs season may be over but Cavs fans are in good hands with Justin & Carter (& Mac!) as their voice after wins & losses.

Looking forward to many playoff battles between our teams & our shows in the future!

  5. The Cavs started the regular season 8-1 and I believe it was because Garland missed a 6 of those first 9 games to start the season. After the first game of the season which we lost our first game and Darius was injured in that game to the Toronto Raptors and missed the next 5 games in a row we won all 5 of those games and Donovan was playing at the point and LeVert started at the 2 and the Cavs looked great because LeVert complimented Donovan Mitchell style of play better than Garland does. We were bigger in the backcourt every game that we played without Garland. Small sample size 13 games Darius Garland missed the Cavs were 11-2 with Darius Garland the Cavs were only 40-29 which is not bad but 29 of our 31 losses were with him on the court now you look at the Cavs record the games Donovan Mitchell missed due to injuries and that explains a lot to me
I don't believe you can win with such a small backcourt in today's NBA. Mobley and Jarrett Allen aren't strong enough to rebound at the level to take the Cavs seriously as a contender. Mobley has shown a bit of a post game but he isn't strong enough yet to play in the post consistently because against physical teams or physical players he gets bumped or pushed out of position and loses his balance and can finish around the hoop same for his rebounding he can't keep his balance when boxing out for rebounds against physical players and Jarrett Allen is the same when it comes to rebounding against physical players plus he lacks any offensive moves in the post he is only a lob threat or has to have someone make a play for him to get a bucket. So we have no low post scoring and we play at a slow pace like we can throw it down to one of the bigs in the half court and let them go to work. Mobley is one of the keys to the Cavs getting better because if he gets physically more stronger he will be able to finish around the hoop more and when he goes to back someone down he will be able to maintain his balance and finish some of his little mid range shots and hook shots because when we play against physical teams he and Jarrett struggle because they aren't strong enough to rebound in traffic against physical players and teams. 31 losses the Cavs had in the regular season 24 of the losses they were out rebounded in the losses. Let's go Cavs next year we will see what happens and what moves the front office makes but I think we should've just kept the same team from last year and just drafted the kid from Kansas and see how that would've worked out in the regular season. I think we would've still been as good as this version of the Cavs with Donovan Mitchell. Maybe we should have gotten a few big bodies like Cousins and Drummond plus our draft pick could've been enough to add to the Cavs from last seasons team instead of giving up so much for a undersized and overated small 2 guard in a point guards body.

  6. Your exaggerating young Celtics struggles.

    They went Conference finals:
    16/17 (Rookie Brown)
17/18 (Rookie Tatum was 19, competing v Lebron) Mobley almost 22.
    19/20
    21/22
    (22/23 likely again)

The 2 years they didn't make the Conference finals:
18/19 Lost in Conference semi to 1 seed & championship favourites Bucks with MVP Giannis, combined with Kyrie disasterclass.

20/21 1st round loss in 6 games to 2 seed Nets with KD, Harden, Kyrie Nets who were championship favourites.
Celtics was missing Jaylen Brown for that series.

Cavs lost to the New York Knicks. A Knicks side they were supposed to be alot better then. A disaster season. Cavs were fully healthy and yet got humiliated in 5 to a Knicks who had 3 starters playing bad (Randle, Grimes, Barrett).

Mitchell Robinson dominated both Mobley & Allen on his own, both playing soft.

  7. I want to preface this by saying you guys are great, keep up the good work. The following includes some venting due to frustrations from the series and roster construction.

Some reflections based on things you discussed that I hope are addressed on your series recap: 1. Coaching: How do you go an hour without discussing how we were outcoached, especially on the offensive end to open up Mitchell? 2. Veteran presence / role player: Kevin Love would have helped on two primary issues (rebounding and shooting), and he's been productive for the Heat in the playoffs, on a team that was not a good rebounding team this year (e.g., Bam 1 rebound game vs. Cavs). Would have liked to see that discussed, unless you guys aren't allowed to criticize the FO. We knew we had a backup big issue last year after JA went down, and somehow made it worse this year but not keeping Love (JB deserves blame on this two for shutting the door on him getting a least limited minutes) 3. Speaking of bringing people in: We don't have a lot of cap space or assets to move. What are your thoughts on putting our players on the trade market? 4. Using pain of loss as motivation: Our players / coach said the SAME THING last year after the play-in losses and once again saw bad offense and little positive adjustments, despite adding Mitchell. How can we have confidence in raising our energy level in the playoffs when we got punked for 3 straight games this series?
