  1. Seeing Jay Wright and Calipari on there is interesting. Wouldn’t hate that hiring but would be skeptical of their ability to coach NBA players.

Idk if it’s the right choice but Sam Cassell would be fun if they’re going the assistant route

Does anyone know where they would even accept bets on this? I’m in Illinois, and it’s not an option on FanDuel

I can’t imagine it’s gonna be anyone else besides Nurse but maybe not

Atkinson isn’t the right coach imo. Nurse and Charles Lee are probably who I personally prefer. Love Sam Cassell but I’m worried that Doc’s influence might have gotten to him too much.

Chris Quinn is an interesting name I never thought about. Spos coaching tree is a little questionable, but Quinn is young and has learned from one of the most versatile and adjustable coaches.

Do we know Charles Lee’s philosophy? I know he is under bud so does he run the same offense and the let it fly emphasis?

Are there any Golden State Warriors assistant coaches we can take a look at?

Why are you guys for Nick Nurse? If Nick Nurse comes in I have concerns about him running a 8 man rotation with starters playing like 40 mins every game like he did with the Raptors.

  10. Nurse, Lee, or Wright, though Wright reminds me of Rick Pitino in Boston in the 90s.

Nurse and Lue are pretty obviously the best coaching candidates. Lue may not be available so it’s Nurse then.

He might be a bit of a regular season downgrade but he’s an infinitely better playoff coach than Bud. Way quicker to adjust, better game management, more creative and more scheme flexible defensively, and better prepared for specific opponents.

He can be intense and a micromanager but that is exactly what we need. Our team has questionable basketball IQ and cannot be trusted to be let loose, they need someone who is sharp mid game and will be able to read the game and make the proper schematic adjustments and manage the game on a possession basis. He’s vocal and strong minded and will get the team operating at the speed and discipline level they need to in the playoffs.

Wtf? I was supposed to get a call to see if I was at least in contention. This is how I find out? On Reddit??

I heard Kendrick Perkins, whom I don’t always agree with, mention Ty Lue being a great fit & with the Clipper mess may have interest. No clue if or how that could work but after thinking on it, I might be good with Ty coming on board.
