For all you shitting on harden, that man hit 2 of his last 3 shots. Keep that up and Sixers in 6.

  2. PhiladelphiaCounty

I fucking here this team. Doc Rivers might be the worst coach you could possibly choose for this roster. The ownership is incompetent and Joel snd Harden won’t stay around for them to figure it out. I fucking hate it here.

  3. Danish1928

This series is over. Another prime Embiid season waster

  4. SPARKisnumber1

People asking to trade Embiid because his teammates had a bad night should go watch something else, because the reality of basketball is that not every shot can go in every night. How about we cherish the fact that we have one of the best bigs to ever play the game in his prime? If you’re ready to dip out after we lose a close game then you don’t deserve to be here when we win, full stop. If anything, losses like this should tell us that it’s totally possible to win if we just play slightly better. 2-1 is not a death sentence, it’s just an obstacle in our path. We’re going up against the best team remaining in the playoffs and have proven time and time again in the regular season that we deserve to be here. If the Celtics lose this series, should they blow up the team just because they lost to another great team? The answer should be no, but if luck favored us this game then they’d be down 2-1 and some of their fans would be asking to get rid of Jalen Brown. Only 1 team can win, and with expectations so high for both of us, one team has to be left disappointed. Let’s stop being over reactionary over back luck and win the next game. Only shit we should be mad at is turnovers and lost possessions.

I’m ready to stop pretending Harden’s bizarre fucking wardrobe is even remotely cool

  6. I really want to see melton and mcdaniels split Tobi’s minutes, I like the guy and he’s usually steadier than people give him credit for but he has zero dynamism when we need it most. It’s also hurts the most knowing there’s an alternate timeline where in addition to Jo, we could have Jimmy butler and mikal bridges doing for us what tatum/brown are doing for the Celtics. A scoring wing and a do it all hardass wing, we so badly have needed that forever it seems like.

  7. spilledsippycup

It’s sad because even Harden and Maxey both played like ass and it was still winnable if guys just tried. So many plays where it just seemed like someone gave up and didn’t fight for the rebound, or made a lazy pass, or didn’t take the shot. I truly don’t understand why it seems like they aren’t trying…

  8. swaggiep

Game was lost when doc didn’t challenge at the end of the first half. 6 points right there

  9. JusticeBeaver94

Thank fucking god the Eagles are good

  10. Affectionate_Self878

Nick Foles is available for Game 4! BDN still the only way a Philly team ever breaks through.

  11. thundercockjk2

I think I’m ready to go back to the process years.

  12. vaped_kizz

the roller coaster ride that is james harden isn’t very fun

  13. jocar101

Really not surprised anymore. Nobody on this team can ever rise to the occasion when it’s needed in the playoffs. We’re fucking mediocre. What a great way to ruin Embiid’s MVP night.

Perennial 2nd round knock out. Gotta love Elton Brand for ruining the Process. All those role players on the Celtics that are torching us? Nah, we get 7 point Tobias on a max contract instead.

  14. Moheezy__3

Man…we still haven’t fully recovered from that one year without a real GM.

Doc, Tobias, no Jimmy, no Bridges…it hurts because if we just hired a result GM that year, I know that we’d be in a much better position.

Watching this team have their playoff demons creep up sucks.

  15. Danish1928

We have a black cloud over this organization and it’s that rat owner josh Harris

  16. Danish1928

This year Boston is weaker then they have ever been and we still can’t beat them. Our defense is horrible. They get so many open shots and we struggle to do anything. Doc Rivers is trash. This roster is old and slow. Every loose ball every deflection they get. Just trash. Embarrassing performance

  17. Is it just me, or did the pre-process Sixers at least hustle more than this team did? Those teams from 2010-2012 seemed to always put up better fights than this team does.

  18. BernedTendies

God damn. I’m pretty out on the Sixers after being a lunatic fan over the process years. Like oh my god we’re going to lose to the Celtics a-fuckin-gain

  19. xychosis

I’ll probably be a little more optimistic in a few hours, probably during the off day discussion thread, but right now I want to down a gallon of bleach and drop dead.

  20. Gunningham

After Game 1, people basically challenged Boston’s manhood. They took it personally. We should’ve stayed shut up and let them stay listless.

  21. euphronius

    Well

The franchise is dead . The owner now runs the commanders.

We are a decade or more from a title . Good times

  22. dmtinfinitt

Im not even mad. And even though I have money on the series and this game it’s whatever. Wasn’t much money. Professional sports is fixed anyways. We don’t have a shot.

We’re giving up wide open threes because of pump fakes. We can’t defend a simple pick and roll. We can’t get any lose balls or rebounds. Its not worth being invested in professional sports anymore.

It feels like They told Harden not to try. Because he is blatantly not trying. At least Maxey tries.

If a few calls go our way in the first half it completely changes the game. Like that 3rd foul on Tobias when he was playing pretty well up until then.
Zone seems to work. Why do we play zone for two minutes then stop. Cus nothing else is working.

All you have to do is a simple hedge and switch and not jump 5 feet sideways on a fake pass. Stop jumping every pump fake. Fuk al horford. Fuk brogdon. Fuk smart. Fuk Boston.

Philly sold their soul to win that eagles super bowl.

    This is the aftermath

  23. seidner310

As shit as it is I really don’t care anymore. Been here since Iverson, let it play out how it does. Perpetual 2nd rnd exit, chip, or not, I’m just over this shit. I’m done…

  24. WESandCASEYtruther

How many times does it have to happen before people realize that Maxey is just a completely different player when 1 of harden or embiid are out? He’s so much better man when he’s not just standing around the perimeter being only a catch and shoot guy basically.

  25. BaylessWasTraded

Time start over. Can Joel take a year off next year and we tank while waiting to get off harden and Tobi?

  26. johnnyutall

Outside of Embiid and Maxey, nobody showed up tonight. This team seems to lack heart. Harden and Doc can start packing their bags.

  27. lonelystowner

Pathetic. Harden is lame for the short post game interview

  28. Neat-Confidence5556

we’ll win the next game and then shit the bed in boston, then come home and put a performance akin to tonight’s in game 6. clockwork
