I’d certainly rather have Ayton than Gobert. Much younger and he really is a more skilled player, but something is up with him in Phoenix. He’s kind of quiet quitting.

Depends on the price. Sign and Trade with Kyrie is definitely a no. I may be willing to trade Green but with no additional frp plus salary filler; Hardy is a no for me. If it’s something like Bertans+THJ+2027frp I would do it without any hesitation. Sign and trade with Wood would be good considering he is not staying with us and we would be retaining some value from him.

I have no clue why we wouldn’t do this for Bertans + THJ / Powell. But even if it was a s+t with Kyrie I’d think about it. Ayton is a risky bet but if it works you might retain Luka after all, and that’s all this franchise should be concerned with after this year. Luka and Ayton also seemingly have a decent relationship dating back to their draft class

Sure, I would like him. But I am not trading Kyrie, Green, Hardy or a 1st round pick to get him. Maxi + THJ would need to suffice. Lets be honest. the Suns will not do the trade for Bertans.
