Yes we deserve every bit of the L today.
Before we start to correctly criticise the refs, maybe first don’t play like the Golden State CTE Warriors too? We literally just completely unravel after that Steph turnover in the 2nd Q.
The damn defending champions playing like an embarrassment. Kerr too, managed the game poorly today. Moved away from what worked so well in G2, why the hell for?
Lakers need free throws to win, that’s the only strategy they have. And it’s frustrating that we are losing to these grifters like that.
Poole and Donte haven’t given us fucking anything all playoffs, and Draymond didn’t do anything but foul AD.
Klay was PUTRID, made one shot outside the first and had 6 turnovers and 0 assists. only Steph and Wiggs cared tonight.
The warriors can go to hell for wasting my time tonight lmao
Klay missing that bounce pass was the beginning of the end
Dante is shooting 31% and his highest scoring game these playoffs is 10, Game 1 against SAC. Idk what’s going on but the guy is a negative asset.
Kerr has shown a willingness throughout the years to bench anyone in the playoffs who isn’t performing… EXCEPT POOLE!!! Fucking park his ass on the bench for the love of god
Sure blame Poole however Draymond, Klay and Steph were all bad as well.
I think Looney deserves a pass as he’s not healthy.
Warriors seem to need to be on the ropes to respond thus far in the playoffs…
Fuck the refs onto game 4 💙💛
Anyone else not worried by this game? We couldn’t hit a shot tonight. Steph and Klay are gonna come out motivated for game 4.
That moody flagrant still bothers me 🙄
Absolutely embarrassing.
Klay was next level terrible, Loon too.
DDV doing nothing
The refs were bad in the first half, but I don’t want to hear that is the reason why they lost when they lost by 30
Poole looked worse than those reserves
One of the worst officiated and most frustrating games I’ve ever seen.
FUCK THE REFS
Only a 30 FT difference going into the 4th.
16 turnovers, 40% from the floor. More shot attempts than LA. Techs left & right, I’m sorry but I just can’t blame this loss on the refs.
**first 17:28 of the game:**
Warriors 5 Ft’s
Lakers 6 FT’s
**Next 21:21 of the game:**
Warriors 6 FT’s
Lakers 31 FT’s
**Final 9:11 aka garbage time**
Warriors: 6
Lakers: 0
Story of the game right there, cant beat that level of favoritism unless youre bombing it from 3
And ffs Steph stop deferring to Poole as the primary ballhandler, that just made the Laker run even worse, Kerr also needs to have a much tighter leash on Poole
goodnight!

Gotta win the next one at all cost and make it 2-2 going into game 5. 😤💪
Can we just win the championship? I’m not asking for much
Rest up on to game four. Limit turnovers make a few threes we’ll be alright
Once again, we got the unserious version of the dubs. And just like that, they are in a must win game 4 on the road. Not ideal no matter how many times we’ve done it. Same issues as in most losses this season btw:
-Not going to Steph on ball until it was way too late, when it has been clear for like 8 years that it’s our best, more consistent weapon offensively (also our best chance at limiting turnovers) and in this particular series, our only hope of either take AD away from the rim, or punish his drop coverage. Steph was being guarded by Reaves a good chunk of this game too but nothing. Let’s spam split action and klay/Poole P&R.
-Jordan Poole is not a winning basketball player. He has zero iq and puts zero effort on anything that isn’t stepback threes. Steph puts the game 71-61 and Poole proceeds to let Schroeder completely open because he felt like he had to guard an imaginary player on the other side while making confused gestures with his hands. Looney has to run to the corner to contest Schroeder shot. Too late. He makes it. They go on a 5-0 run. We never get close again.
-Fouling way too much, inability to attack the rim and/or get to the free throw line. Once again, our most consistent way to get to the rim is Steph P&R. Also, does anybody remember any Wiggins post up today? We heavily underutilize that play.
Funnily enough, Kerr usually calls for it like once or twice a game when we really need a bucket, so it’s clear he understands it usually works, especially against a missmatch. It shouldn’t be hard to make Dlo or Reaves switch on him.
The fact that if you tune to a Warriors game, you’re sure to see Poole: attempt a stepback 3 four feet behind the line, throw a prayer at the rim trying to create contact and either slips or dribble the ball off his own foot after trying to create something out of nothing with 14 seconds in the posession, but it’s not sure you’ll see a Wiggins post up or even P&R won’t cease to amaze me.
-Stupid unforced mistakes and untimely techs by Draymond.
-Draymond in foul trouble and unable to let his mark in the game.
-Donte can’t finish at the rim and can’t shoot outside of Chase Center. He also overhelps a lot. It’s a shame GPII has been missing every open corner three because we could use him. He also looks a tad slower than last season.
This was the worst performance of Looney in the playoffs by far. Getting the ball snatched by Reaves on a rebound, can’t finish at the rim and, the most surprising part, turnovers…
Klay also created like the 5th turnover in this playoffs because he refuses to look at the ball. It would’ve probably been a layup to go up 42-29 just before the massive run they had.
I didn’t like the JMG experiment, I was extremely suprised it worked last game, I’m not surprised it didn’t work today. AD is obviously not going to bother guarding him in the perimeter, so rather than create space for the others, it becomes a game of let’s see if JMG can make open threes.
He’s definitely not good enough of a shooter to rely on him. He’s an absolute cone on defense prone to fouling every single play, and you think he’s a good matchup against the Lakers?
People comparing him to Otto Porter these past days should write an apology letter to Otto. What a way to overreact. They’re nowhere close in terms of shooting, defense, iq, and rebounding. JMG also has the second worst dunk %(behind Marquese Chriss). He also misses about 2/10 dunks. It might seem like a nothing stat but those plays are particularyl deflating, and he had one missed dunk on the first half.
I’m not sure what Kerr should do with Loon/Dray minutes. Both at the same time is a huge No vs Ad. Dray at the 5 and we can’t rebound for shit.
They didn’t punk us.
We let them punk us.
Payton needs more play time also
I don’t give a fuck about the refs, you don’t give up a 22-2 run in the 2nd quarter of the fucking playoffs.
This shit was over by half. Sure, they cut the lead to 10 late in the 3rd, but they immediately let it balloon back to 20+. Guess it’s nothing new, did it all season.
Terrible showing. Some of those fouls were awful (4 and 5 on Dray), but you can’t be gifting free points with those Ts, flagrants, and take fouls. Let the Lakers run off with that win, pretty much packed their bags for them.
Really, really bad performance, sucks especially because of how well they played in the 1st (outside of getting absolutely burnt by D’lo). Not gonna single anyone out specifically, because man, a majority of them were ass.
Game 4 a must win, sucks it’s on the road. Gotta hope they clean their mess up and stop putting the refs in a position to make those calls… or at least cut out the turnovers and actually hit their shots. Desperately need to play it smarter, completely undisciplined come the mid 2nd. From up 40-29 to down 59-48, all in the span of half a quarter.
Need 40+ min from Wigs moving forward
— Starters play poorly
— No bench to speak of
— Kerr disasterclass
— Refball 2: Electric Boogaloo
Everyone better sleep at the gym and work on their shots
I don’t understand how this team can look so unbeatable on one night and then like a lottery team two days later.
This is the most frustrating and enigmatic Warriors team I’ve ever seen.
Warriors routinely beat themselves. And they’ve shown that’s their weakness all year. Up 11 and start doing dumb goofy shit cmon man. Wiggins is the only one that can hold his head high the others need to look in the mirror. Especially DDV.
I find it difficult that Poole stays next year. Even if the gsw repeat. But each game I find it harder to do because it just seems that we have no cohesive unit whatsoever. Lakers seems like a better environment than warriors this year.
Fuck the refs. yeah yeah Dubs make a lot of dumb fouls but when they were pulling away that’s when the calls started. and as dumb as the Dubs can be with fouls, what are the Lakers angels? such that 31-8 discrepancy at one point would seem sane?? If you think so, then you’re goddamn delusional.
This was AD’s zig game and he will zag next time and Dubs will improve their shot and refs will quiet their whistles. That’s how they get home court back.
They can’t win without a +20 FT differential. They just can’t. Without the refs dictating this series, we are up 3-0 and looking to sweep.
what a terrible product. that game wasn’t even watchable. nba should be ashamed.
yeah. turnovers. but 2nd quarter flip was 11 plus points off shitty calls, take fouls, etc. game as lost then.
Every time jordan Poole comes on. I’m praying he has a decent not even good minutes. Every time my expectations are low and I’m disappointed every game. We’re paying Poole almost 30 mil next season.
How many dunks has JMG clanked this year?
Did Kerr forget that GP2 exists?
