  2. The Lakers are 6th in points in the paint this season. They’re 4th in the league in restricted area FGA, 7th in post-ups per game, and 6th in post-touches overall. They’re clearly a physical, paint-centric scoring offense.

The differential also comes mostly from the fact that the Lakers are a very disciplined defensive team. They’re ranked 1st in the league in fewest fouls committed per 100 possessions.

For a serious answer, it’s because they don’t drive the ball a a lot. An AD post up starting at the Ft line elbow does not count as a drive. A Lebron post up from the 10 feet out does not count as a drive. Their points in the paint stat is more correlated to their free throw attempts

Just stumbled onto this sub. Is the consensus really that the NBA is rigging games for the lakers to beat the warriors ?

Everytime the Lakers layup like AD, Schroder, or Vanderbilt – they always fall and act fouled

There’s no way for a 30-5 FT ratio idgaf what kinda game it is

Rigging and conspiracy! NBA is literally STASI and KGB combined!

  8. It can’t. Not in a real sport that is not rigged. I’m so disappointed in the NBA. I probably won’t watch the rest of this series.

    Laker Fans:

    > *”Because y’all only shoot 3s, and we drive. That’s why we lead the league in FTs. Because even though there are 19 other teams cheating and driving to the rim more, we gots the Nikes and LeCommissioner. So, that makes perfect sense, and is just a **NORMAL BASKETBALL MOTION**.”*

Apart from the flagrant, were any of the FT calls actually questionable? I watched last night and it did look like Lakers were getting fouled.

Flops and refs sponsored by ESPN, Nike, and TNT.

JVG’s explanation is that the Warriors are shooting 3’s and that’s why they’re not getting fouled. Bruh, jump shooters don’t get fouled? GTFO. That and how they called flagrant 1 yesterday (shots and possesion) and the Lakers get a common foul for the Draymond leg grabs?!

Do warriors fans actually watch the game or do their mom’s make them go to bed? Seriously, Looney is their only center and he only rebounds. Lebron is constantly driving at full speed and AD is in the paint; when the warriors play 4 guards, they are going to foul more.
